This will go over South Korean football and how it runs with rules etc
Firstly...
League Format
The top division is called the K-League Classic and consists of 12 clubs and there is a second division that consists of 10 clubs called the K-League Challenge.
There is currently no Relegation or Promotion but every now and then certain clubs can be promoted but must meet a list of criteria to do so, this will be interesting to see how that's implemented into the game, but I assume it will be the base 12 club top division only. we can hope though can't we.
Relegation wise the bottom side will go down if the Second Div Champions are allowed to be Promoted then the 11th place team in the First Div play the 2nd place team in Second Div in a Relegation playoff similar to Scottish Football
Competitions
The league has an FA Cup style cup, called the Hana Bank FA Cup, to compete for as most league tend to. This cup involves lower league sides as well as top division clubs including some University sides too which is sweet.
They also partake in the Asian Champions League, the same one as in Australia so should be cool to see the relationship between those two countries in game.
The winner of the Hana Bank FA Cup gets a place in the Champions League too which is an added incentive to win that competition, the final being played in December
League wise, it normally begins around March time and runs until mid November. The top three sides qualify for the Champions League with Promotion and Relegation explained above.
Overall I feel it could be a very fun country to manage in and hopefully they have implemented the two divisions fully for a more immersive experience. But I will defo be giving it a shot anywho
Infact we know the K-League Challenge has been added
Thank you for reading and CAN'T WAIT FOR THE GAME TO BE RELEASED
