Career To Infinity Glove and beyond

First attempt at a challenge and first career I'm sharing....

So I chose Real as my team, loads of cash and a history of buying in Galacticos plus an easy league to score in.

I tried to recreate the 433 that Man United used to play when they had Tevez Ronaldo and Rooney on a previous career which worked pretty well so I decided to go with that formation. I have no idea how some of you get 100+ goals a season out of your strikers or how to get an average rating over 9 so I'm relying on consistency and everyone chipping in.

My gems are...

No expense spared there (Sanchez wasn't technically free...I did a straight swap for Bale)

Players out were....

So pretty much everyone which left me pretty thin in case of injuries or fatigue. Ronaldo is my only back up forward and Kroos my only decent CM back up :/

This is my formation...

Player roles vary a bit depending on who we are playing. Usually I use fb instead of wb so they don't steal assists

I usually play overload high defensive line offside close down everywhere run at defence and early crosses

Season update. It's about 17th December so around the mid way point. Had some injury issues with Sanchez and Coutinho early in the season. No one major injury but a few niggly ones from a week to a month which didn't help.

So results so far...

Pretty good so far but a few low scores in the league against weaker teams. Aubameyang has been the star of the show in terms of goals....

With De Bruyne the assist king...

Not getting close to an average of 9 but all 6 gems are in top 7 for average rating....

And I was thinking that I spend much, you are going all out I see

Half way and you are doing great. Looking at your goals and assists, I think I will have to do this challenge again sometime because you are gonna beat my scare for sure

I will miss out on young player of the year...I forgot there were points for it so didn't buy any1 young enough....oops

69 points for assists

10 points for the league

5 points for top scorer in league

5 points for top assists in league gives a total of....288 points????

I know Suarez got it even though Aubameyang got twice as many goals, twice as many assists and a higher average rating and Aubameyang got best player in Europe. HOW did he not get player of the year???!!!

I have had the same thing in some saves  hate it when it happens
