Career Cockers Has 'Positive Vibrations' to Three Little Birds

Well someone had to start the trend and get a Leaderboard up and running so everyone can start with an aim to beat.

So my journey started when 'I shot the sheriff' I got sent to prison where I was told I would spend the rest of my time 'Waiting in vain' for eventual death by Prison Cell or take over Ajax and complete the 'Three Little Birds' challenge set by @Ashez

The new Manager of Ajax had the crowd in a 'Positive Vibration' during the appointment ceremony, rapture and excitement lifted the mood around the club, anybody who could 'Get up, Stand up' was there to celebrate the new manager @Cockers2505

The first task I was set to complete, was the immediate transfer of 3 Jamaican players who could create an 'Africa Unite' and help take this club to 'War' to win this League and bring home the trophies.

The whole Ajax supporters and players could only wait patiently whilst I sorted out the best 3 cream of the crop to 'Who the Cap Fit'

First we have:

Andrew Lewis

He can play in an any Advanced Position 

Second:

Simon Dawkins

Another player who can play in all Attacking positions

Third:

Darren Mattocks

Hopefully the 'Natural mystic' player I am looking for to help conquer this challenge

My first challenge was done, 3 players I needed came into the club and straight into the Team.

The Season began as it should, each one of the three taking there positions within the team, all playing their hearts out to 'Satisfy My Soul' in this one season challenge.

First bad news came:

Darren Mattocks is out for a month, our main man is out, leaving the other two to 'Stir It Up' between themselves.

Mattocks returns, bags himself an Hatrick, the crowd goes wild, the passion is ecstatic to the point of 'No Woman, No Cry' bounces round the stadium.

Disaster strikes again:

This time it's Simon Dawkins who is out for 2 weeks, and then ten days, but the club know he is a 'Buffalo Soldier' and will bounce back to 100% fitness in no time.

But wait a minute, no it can't be 'How Many Times' can this happen 😫 double injury blow

Dawkins and now Mattocks are out together, only Lewis can keep 'Them Belly Full' of hope with his mystical displays.

This is going to be a long season, Dawkins is out again.

This time for 10 days, 'How Many Times' can this keep happening to us.

At last, the 'Sun is Shining' on us.

Simon Dawkins pops up with a memorable Hatrick to give us a good away win against Roda JC.

Injuries keep on compounding our chances, is there going to be a mass 'Exodus' of Ajax players as fitness worries plague the club.

Simon Dawkins has another 3 weeks out, can this continue

This follow with Mattocks getting another 2 months, are these guys not warming up properly, are they simply 'Stiff Necked Fools'

How did our cup runs go:

Champions League first:

We was drawn against Bayern, Man Utd and Besiktas

We couldn't get past the group stage, 'I Can See Clearly Now' where we went wrong, maybe the European Cup is our destiny.

The Dutch Cup:

We got to the Quarter Final where we was drawn against AZ who are a force to reckon with.

We was in such a 'Mellow Mood' we simply didn't turn up on the day, eventually going out to a 2-1 loss, This is 'Not 'My Cup' this year

EURO Cup:

Another Quarter Final stage but over two legs, I thought as we was 'Riding High' with our league status we could do this.

I had to give 'Thanks and Praises' to the supporters for there support and understanding, the 'Guiltiness' I felt when he final whistle went and we had lost 4-3 on aggregate

So with us out of all the Cups, 'I Made A Mistake' thinking these was easy games

The League:

At last some more good news, 'Hallelujah' we clinch the Title, at last we are in 'Dreamland' and hope the success can continue.

This has got to be the worst challenge I have done with so many injuries to my star players, I had to 'Simmer Down' and battle on

This time it was Andre Lewis, a full Month out with a groin strain

End Of Season:

Well 'Sound The Trumpet' This has been one of the weirdest one season challenges I have done, I could not simply stop them from picking up those silly injuries to hamper my chances of getting more points throughout the season, 'I'm hurt Inside' 

Final Standings:

'Get Up, Stand Up' and applaud the team, a good final push helped us clinch the title, and get a healthy 86 points, 27 wins, 5 draws and only 2 losses.

How did they do, 'Smile Jamaica' these guys have made this 'Slave Driver' a very proud man:

Andre Lewis

This is his stats at the end of the season 

But how did he do with Goals

I got 42 games out of him, but he only scores 7 goals, but made up on Assists creating 12 goals for his colleagues

Simon Dawkins

His stats at the end of the season

But how did he do in front of goal

He was proper 'Jammin' with 14 goals, and 19 assists

Last but not least:

Darren Mattocks

End of season stats, considering his season, I think these would of been much better if he didn't get injured so much, causing him 'Coming In From the Cold' to much

So how did he do up front, playing the 'Soul Rebel' 

So, out of the 37 games I got him fit enough for, he scores an impressive 27 goals, he even mentioned 'It Hurts to be Alone' striker

Final Stats:

Well, I suppose I need to 'Cheer Up' it wasn't that bad, we wasn't exactly 'Rocking Steady' and 'Running Away' with it, but we did win the league, so thats a bonus

Scores on the Doors:

Andre Lewis - 7.44

Simon Dawkins - 7.81

Darren Mattocks - 7.78

League - 86

Total - 109.3

This is no where near the best result I know, 'Simmer Down' it was a good attempt, 'Time Will Tell' how this does on the Leaderboard

Loved the style mate, very unique and a solid attempt considering how unlucky you were. You've used a wrong points system though.

Some nasty injuries there but still a really good score coupled with the greatest hits of Bob Marley as well made this an enjoyable read 👍

All's good mate, I used AvR so other players could be used and not just attackers.

Yes I get that now, maybe I might have another go now I understand that, me simply rushing into it without understanding fully, still enjoyed it though, and there's a bench mark now

Tbh you still scored very well AvR wise. It depends if you think you can do better with them in other areas with better attackers. Just mentioning it but other signings are allowed, you didn't make any so I thought I'd mention it in case you go for round 2 :).

Yes thanks mate I saw that, as for other transfers, i made a couple more but only screenshot the 3 main guys before I made others as the rest of the team didn't really matter in my thread, but thanks for pointing it out

Missed this, but great read (even if I didn't know half the songs). Great stuff, especially under the circumstances. Is there some sort of leaderboard for most injuries?

Thanks mate, I couldn't believe each one was nearly injured each week, at one sage I think I couldn't choose any of them for a game, just unbelievable

Hi Mate, I bought others, but the screenshot was just to show the 3 Jamaican's I got, I bought a few others, but none to mention as I believe  in one season the team is good enough to just get on with it, but you can buy as many and from anywhere, I just chose not to
