Thanks mate. Me too. There were definitely times where I thought I might only get them to 800 each...

I think I underestimated their ability to score pretty well even when they were pretty badly degraded. I guess I forget that that the opposition is pretty weak and that they'd still have a world class team serving up opportunities.

As for @Rich and Luzzi, don't hold your breath, that lad's got about 20 careers on the go at once! 🤣

Thanks mate, was definitely a good one to play. I didn't make it through my previous China careers as I lost interest along the way, but something about this one made it stick. Maybe because the target was so ambitious? Maybe because there were so many goals? I don't know, but it was fun.

Yeah, in the end it was easy, but all it would have taken was Pellegri or Badji to say "Nah, I think I'll retire" to have killed it. 

Have started a 1KC / Assists 1KC and I'm enjoying it, but not sure I'll stick with it long term yet.

Thanks mate, was plain sailing for much of the career, but certainly up and down near the end. So glad we made it in the end!

I definitely took an entertainers approach, that was the foundation of my success alright!

Oh, the doctors say it's helped me a lot. Also, I'm getting better. Last year I tried a 2KC + 1KC + Assists 1KC. This year it's just a 1KC + Assists 1KC. They are very happy with my progress.

As a reminder, here's what they needed:

• Badji: 9 goals, which should be trivial even with his very low attributes (unless he got a 9 month injury or something)
• Esposito: 34 goals, which should be achievable given Badji scored 51 last season and Esposito is in better shape

So did they reach those targets?

I could try to drag this out, but let's not do that this time around. Yes, they got the goals and they did so by the halfway mark of the season:

And three separate 1KCs achieved in parallel... It began as a super ambitious dream that I thought I'd never achieve, but in the end we cruised over the line. Great lads I tell you.

I won't add any of these to the 1KC leaderboard for reasons I've discussed before (knowing too much about too many of the players), this one was purely for fun. And fun it was!

Speaking of fun, we'd saved up more than £2.6B to spend on our farewell party:

Let me tell you, it was epic. I can't share the details, but those lads know how to party. Oh sh!t, I think a tiger just walked past the door!

In other news, I've accepted a job somewhere else - one of the lads put me in touch with one of their former clubs who were wanting to recreate past glories. Not sure if I will write it up or not yet though, it feels serious, but I'm not sure I'll go the distance with it...

I've got it set to show Trained Role, not this preferred/natural role. The * seems to appear for anyone who is being trained in a role that's not their preferred one. So Badji is being trained as an AM, but the * shows that's not what he does best as.
