How can I configure fmm 21 on my android device to have it like this

What device are you on? Maybe it’s doesn’t support HD mode.

I just looked that device up and my guess is it can only run non HD mode as it’s an older handset these days.

You won’t have the option for HD mode because your device can’t handle it unfortunately. Most likely because the screen isn’t big enough as the HD configuration is designed for larger phones and tablets.

I don't have a HD mode either and I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra 🤷‍♂️

You have Stretch Display, that is it. Uncheck that and you will have the game as half of your screen or so with a big fat black border.

You mean your game doesn’t have the menu bar down the left like this which is HD mode?

 

And instead has the little menu box at the bottom left like this screenshot from FMM20?

You don’t have the option to change to non HD as you have a good device so I guess they think why would you want to. It’s the same on my iPad and iPhone 12mini I don’t have the option for non HD.
