Season 03

So after a storming start to the season with 11 goals in 2 games, could Haaland smash out a massive season?

Well, we did some transfer business.

 

I get a bit excited with transfers on FMM and there’s one or two in there that I perhaps wouldn’t have grabbed in hindsight. Timber joins and rejoins a few times during this save, for example. I get a bit obsessed with versatility. Trent fills three positions, for example. 

Haaland ended the season aged 23, looking like a goal monster. His shooting never reaches 20 during this save. Weird.

 

We gobbled up all the trophies, but bizarrely lost 3 in the league. 🤷‍♂️

 

Mr Haaland ended the season with 135 goals in 55 games, with barely any injuries, if any at all. 
 

 

This took his total to 373 in total, in 164 managed games.

After a bit of an injury-hit season the season before, I was delighted with the return to form!

In terms of games Haaland has played its 2.4. However if I include all other games it’s 2.3.

I will maintain that he’s a cheat code.

Season 04

A few more transfers and trophies in the cabinet, with Wirtz and Donnarumma essentially solidifying two fairly equal starting lineup options at the club. Others were mostly regens.

Haaland had an injury free season, again, and grabbed 121 goals in his 55 appearances.

This takes his total to 494 goals in 219 of my managed games.

Great going mate, You sure do like the transfers hey? 😄  I used to be like that, but am trying a more settled approach these days. Anyway, he's powering through and gonna threaten to get to that 150 mark next season.

I do the same if I can, feel like I have to buy new players every window ha. I did read somewhere that if you don’t purchase at least like one ‘first team’ quality player, your squad won’t play as well in the follow season. Could be rubbish but it’s stuck with me.
