Career Mason Attempts the Premier Honour Challenge

Good day, your favorite American is here! I never quite got attached to the unemployment challenge, so I decided to move onto a newer, more demanding challenge, the Premier Honour Challenge! In this challenge, my goal is to rewin every trophy each manager has won in every league (for example, I need to rewin the premier league 9 times for it to be complete). This will take a minimum of 33 seasons, so it'll be done over two stages 

• Stage one takes place in England, Germany, France, and Portugal
• Stage two takes place in Italy, Spain, and Holland

STAGE ONE

Season One

My bold and epic journey begins with none other but the best club in the world Taking down the toughest task first, the English success. Say what you want about Liverpool, but I believe this team, with some key additions, is capable of winning on a global level. It'll be tough, but the talent I have will make it doable, wish me luck!

Transfers 

Only made a few transfers, but they all should serve valuable! Sturridge is chronically injured, so 40 million isn't bad for him! Replacing him with crosstown rivals star brings great joy, a class player. Jemerson should serve well in the back line for me, really provides a great option for me alongside Matip. Predrag should become a star keeper later on and Menéndez gives me a backup option at left back. The grind for the league is on!

Happy to see the challenge has made atleast one career post already.Really interested by it,would try it if not for a article I am working on.But will follow this with great interest.Starting with Liverpool is a great choice,even if I am biased.But it was a bit hard to digest the arrival of Lukaku,But if Everton suffers it will all be worth it.Jemerson was a nice catch,a solid defender who performs consistently.Hopefully you do a triple in your first season.

Thanks! Lukaku is absolutely shredding up the premier league with firmino feeding him the ball. Unfortunately, bringing in Jemerson really bothered lovren and klaven so I had to sell both in the winter. Some reason, even though I'm first over halfway through the season, my morale has stayed consistently yellow. Oh well, a league title is on the way and maybe an FA cup (not EFL though, stupid Man U.). And to your point about Everton, they're in 18th right now

End of Season One

So, how would Liverpool fare in their first season under Mason?

What a great year! To make it better, Everton is getting relegated! A killer amount of goals, Lukaku was amazing 

Player of the year, along with Mané in second place, and me with manager of the year

How did we fare in cup play?

Disappointing to say the least, tough loss to our rivals. Guess there's an EFL cup size hole in my cabinet still. How about FA cup?An excellent win! My only real competition was Tottenham in round 6! Very proud of this result! Overall, a great season that I'm looking to build off of

Good season mate, unlucky on the EFL cup, that's probably going to be one of the easier accomplishments give the fact you only need to win 4 of them in the space of atleast 10 years.

Season Two

Our goal this season is to win every trophy possible; League, Community shield, FA cup, EFL cup, and even Champions. To do this, we needed some squad turnover. A major, possibly our only problem, was low morale due to players not necessarily playing that often last season. Because of this, I sold everyone who I knew would not play more than sporadically 

Tranfers Out

 As you can see, a large chunk of players are gone, be it on loan or transfer. The sale of Origi will hurt the most, but he would not be playing often anyways. I fended off bids of 137 million for Coutinho and 75 million for Firmino alongside these 

These sales meant I'd need some new talent in, shaping me for champions run

Isco was transfer listed, I figured why not? Mbappé and de Ligt are to make sure the team is great down the road  Robertson and Deulofeu allow for us to have solid depth at thin positions, and Balotelli was simply for profit 

I also got a nice little surprise in the mail...Will certainly help my reputation when I attempt to move after destroying all of England! Outside of that I just have yet to win the World Cup, so this could be my best opportunity. And finally, the community shield against rivals Manchester United

Could we win?

Of course we did, even if the only goal was an own goal! We dominated the game in every aspect, should've been 2-0 or 3-0. Add community shield 1/10 to the trophy cabinet

So far, so good! This team looks young and dominant, a stellar season is in the cards!

End of Season Two

A crazy season for the only Merseyside club in the premier league! First and foremost, how did we do in the league? Could we retain our title?

Of course we did! In resounding fashion, tooAn amazing campaign overall, stellar numbers all around for the boys, with Lukaku leading the premier league in goals again with 30 in 28 games

How about cup play? Could we treat as FA champs while making up for our EFL loss last year and even take global honors?

First and foremost, EFL cup. A great overall win, and a valuable trophy to our collection that we couldn't grab onto last year! Isco proved critical here, as he often did all season

Repeat FA cups! A nice performance from Mané, proving key to be a key piece even with all the other attacking options. And finally, champions cup

An amazing start! A straightforward group, but finishing above Barcelona is very big! We got paired with the heavy task of PSG, how would we fare? A 2-0 victory that came down to extra time in order to decide who advances, but we prevailed! Next round against Man City, premier league opponents, could the luck keep upSadly, our run came to an end there. Overall a very good season, taking 4/5 possible trophies!

Key Players:

Leading goal scorer with greens in all the right places, just has struggled with injuriesThe big money signing payed off! 14 goals and 18 assists while playing in every single game for us

The versatile midfielder and retrained defender was an every day piece, with a high amount of greens that make him playable in numerous positionsHad to fend off bids of 137 million for him, but well worth it! A true Liverpool legend as of right now, our success is due to him

The usual youth loans, couple major sales. No longer needed Clyne with the emergence of Alexander Arnold, and Wijnaldum, one of my personal favorites, was losing time to Henderson, Can, and one of my new signings

Very few, but very impactful. Sánchez is huge! Makes us an even stronger team up front! Pulisic is on loan back, as he wouldn't be getting much time for me behind the likes of Sánchez, Mané, Coutinho, Lukaku, Firmino, and Isco. Finally, Ceballos is my future midfielder once Henderson ages out and Can leaves 

So there's the transfers, how about the community shield?

 Darn...big loss. Community shields will be the toughest part, as I need to win 10 in order to advance, and I am currently at one shield so far. Manchester United is proving to be extremely difficult for me as well, as they recently beat me in the regular season as well

As for my UCL draw, I did not get too lucky on thatLast year was straight forward with Barca and us being the overwhelming favorites, but a dance with Bayern, Napoli, and the underrated Fenerbahçe could prove to be dangerous to my UCL hopes. However, I like our odds
