Season Fifteen

108 goals this season. A big drop. We were flying with goals during the first half of the season, then dropped away a bit in the second half.

More importantly, I managed to tie up remaining (5 year) contracts for Eyibil (at the start of the season) and Zarzana (at the end). This gives me 4 seasons more of all three, unless I can undo retirement plans... which I will try when they have three seasons left... assuming their physics drops don’t make me want to cry. I may play it extra season with Zarzana after to get assists.

Cheers guys. Most of my players now are regens and pretty easy to identify, which is annoying as your subconscious takes over when you sign someone. Grrr...

Second best goalscoring season yet for the boys after a shocking season the season before. I have three contracted seasons left of each of them, so 2kc looks entirely plausible. Hopefully I can get both Duku and Zarzana in the 500s for assists too.

This is where FMM makes me laugh. I signed him first time for £48.5m, then sold him for £224m with 50% sell-on fee. I then resigned him three years later for £225m and got £122.5m back. Therefore I made £73m on him due to FMMs strangeness.

Player Contract Update

I meant to post this earlier, but I managed to convince all three of the boys to reconsider retirement (they have 3/4 seasons left):

All accepted. Hurrah. ‘New contracts galore and a great score providing they don’t decline too much as I can sub them etc.’

Then each of them does this:

ANGRY ROB TIME! So they are happy to reconsider retirement then don’t want to sign another contract? They should have added another year to their remaining 3/4 years. Infuriating.

Must be frustrating that. I’ve noticed on my save after a good few seasons loads of horrible boring stuff happening with transfers and players wanting away all the time and then they become outcasts and you usually have to get rid.

Seems to get worse the more seasons you play. Not sure if they are bugs or Si trying to make the game more challenging but guess they’ve succeeded in making it monotonous. 

Anyway enough on that. Even if they don’t sign you’ve still got a great chance of the 2k.
