Career MSN take on ‘The Last Dance’ challenge

We’ll be taking on this lovely wee challenge by @Scratch

The aim is to bring Neymar and Suarez back to Barca for a season and for each of them to achieve 30 goal contributions each which can be achieved via goals and assists. We also have to win the La Liga back from Real Madrid.

So the boys returned along with number one CB Virgil Van Dijk and ex Wonderkid Renato Sanches.

We’ve played into the middle of October and we’ve been dealt with 3 injuries already😡

So started off with the worst possible start but still confident of doing well this season🤞
 

Messi also scored from a corner which made me laugh! Anyways we’ll get through the season and post update at the end👍🏻

Nice, I've had that happen in PC FM, but not FMM.

I look forward to your final score, hopefully the injuries won't slow you down too much.

Shame about the injuries, hope it doesn't affect you too much. I'm about 3/4 of the way through and no injuries yet - but I have them all on low intensity training. They can't seem to stay at 100% though. I might need to change the way I play to make it less intense...

Anyway, keep going! BTW you better have a word with Messi - the goal is not to score from the corner but to assist! He only got one contribution for that, but if he landed it on Suarez's head, it could have been two! 🤣

So... I had Neymar on corners instead of Messi. I almost went the other way, but I doubled down on my "Neymar is a winger" approach! I forgot to set Suarez to near post for the first month 🤦‍♂️. After that they started to get the odd goal. When Neymar's Crossing went from 16 to 17, quite a few more started going in. It was decent but still wasn't huge. I'd guess one goal every 3 or 4 games.

I genuinely believe having that set up gets me a goal every second game it’s been huge.

So the end of the season was a little bit crazy, was wanting Neymar to get 6 goal contributions in 4 games due to a crucial injury in March for him. Messi and Suarez had passed with enough games to spare.

Injuries impacted our season massively but we managed to complete the challenge.. Just.... On the last day in the champions league final😅

We topped the league but 3 points, a lot closer than it looked in April.

 

And we beat Madrid in the final of the super cup to make it a Treble!

 

The boys did okay, I found it a bit tricky playing with a front 3 with a combined age of about 100🤣 but the boys did it in the end

So we finish with a final score of 96 and probably the worst score of all but we’ll take the badge on more on to the next!
