Season 2

Is the old Rich returning, another update? This can’t be real life. But yes, got through a season today, I had done some of it a couple of weeks ago, so I had no idea again what the bloody hell the transfers were, most of the transfers I made were in January.

Mario Gila - I had never heard of him, I don’t know if he’s new on the March update but he had great attributes, but he had an injury and his attributes fell and I am not a patient man so I swapped him for one of my favourite midfielders Zakaria.

Matondo and Dalot - I thought I would group these two as they are now my two wingers, Dalot has had a big upgrade in the March update so I thought I’d give him a go. Matondo came in because I wanted a Welshman and Manchester United wouldn’t sell Dan James.

Moises Caicedo - Another one I wanted to try and new to the March update, he is very good for such a young man, he’s got a very bright future here at Ajax.

Gonzalo Martinez and Calafiori - Experienced but the perfect winger is Gonzalo, 18 crossing and dribbling, it’s a no brained bringing him in to compete with Dilrosun. Then we have Calafiori to come in to compete for the LWB spot with Luca Netz, meaning I now have the two best young LWB on the game.

Livakovic - He’s an awesome keeper and is perfect replacement for Onana what’s my name.

Tactics

Not giving too much away yet as I think I’m on to a winner her, you can see the formation, I may release the player roles later on 😉

A very successful season from us, I’m surprised we’re already so dominant in just our second season, but we have a pretty damn good squad and I’ve created a very solid tactic, maybe not the most attacking for me, but it’s still very fun seeing my boy who’s quite Devine score in so many finals.

Just the 5 this game, not bad for a 17 year old I’d say.

So yeah considering his attributes still haven’t progressed much, he killed it, very happy with that return, but it could have been a lot more, he’s having a lot of chances, I’m hoping when his attributes go up, he will take more of the chances and for some reason he now misses penalties.

So when I became England manager, Chillwell got injured for a month and it came up saying do I want to send him to a physio and I said yea and then it comes up saying he’s out for 2 months and now it’s come up saying he’s had to retire, never happened to me before 😂

To be honest, I was the one who committed the foul, he deserved it.

Well very very occasionally people retire early due to injury, but I've never seen it after sending them to physio. That's supposed to fix it, isn't it? I'd be taking legal action against the Physio!

He’s had that dreaded unlikely to improve already at the tender age of 18, I hope the game is lying to me! Yeah it’s such a weird tactic, I’ve never played this way, always so attacking usually. I’ve finished season 3 yesterday, I’ll post tomorrow, he did pretty well. Thanks for the comment 😁

Season 3

Welcome back to season 3 of this bloody Devine Career, he’s impressed me so far with his return, he’s a good little boy, does help playing in Holland, not the strongest league, but very enjoyable as I’m using different players.

Transfers

So winning the champions league gives us a bit more money to spent, £45m to be exact so not actually that much, but we managed to get some nice quality in, I always try and bring Camavinga in as he goes brilliant, but somehow under my management he has decreased in attributes over the course of the season, I wonder if the league I play in has something to do with it.

Tactic

So nothing has changed here, which is crazy for me, but for the first time on FMM21 I don’t feel like I need to change anything as he’s producing the goods and we barely have any shots against us in the league.

Well a great season, only 4 league goals conceded, we didn’t concede in the league until the 19th game which is mental. I kind of wanted us to concede which may sound silly but I felt like it was unrealistic. I could not believe the Dutch cup final. What scenes. I’m happy for the fans of Hercules though, they must have been buzzing. A very poor champions league final, but Alfie to the rescue.

Jamal Lascelles

I just want to give a shoutout to this man who has been excellent for us for all 3 seasons and is our captain, two champions leagues in a row and his decision making is 20 when in real life its about a 10 😂

Internationals 

So only the 4 internationals for us to start with, after a poor game away at Norway, we really came in to ourselves, but it all depends how involved Alfie was. I did retire Ben Chillwell also.

Only the one loss this season and that was in the Dutch cup final, I need to discipline the boys more!

So what a season, he’s only just turned 18 as well, which is mad, he’s got over 200 already, I’m enjoying this so much as it’s something new and I feel the tactic is working so well. He has got the dreaded unlikely to improve now at the age of 18 though but he’s good enough for Holland so I’m not worried yet. He got a lovely 9 in his first 4 for England as well which gives him 89 for the season.

I think giving Lasceles a decisions rating of 10 IRL is generous at the moment. He's been well and truly "Bruced". More than anyone else tbh.

Anywho. Brilliant return! Even if he is unlikely to improve much more the team around him is always improving so he should keep being awesome!

Yeah I know, he’s been so awful, I was going to give Him a lower rating but I still like him just because of the past, he has been awful for a while now though 🙈
