No. Paul, despite being from Liverpool, never played for them or Everton as a professional, his first professional contract was at Chester City.

He did have trials and i believe signed for both Wigan and Everton but was released.

He left Chester and signed for Bangor before leaving them and joining Airbus.

I went to the same senior school as Paul and his year reached the National Schools Final (they were AMAZING), we went to the final which was held at The Hawthornes, we lost something like 4-1 but had a great time ripping the opposition fans
