(warning, long update)

End of season 3

Did we hold on to the league title?

I most certainly did not expect to utterly dominate the league in my first season up. We even had the top 3 highest scoring players! In a two striker system! So let's take a look at the team statsIMG_2093.thumb.PNG.d671f54827ff82059d42a810cfacfb35.PNGFrantz was acquired halfway through the season from Cameroon, yet still put up over a goal a game. Quique Rey put up a monstrous 24 assists as my advanced playmaker. N'kono, another Cameroonian, lead the league in goals as a target man. Finally, Waring, an actual player released by Stoke, dominated the game by scoring 28 goals on his own while setting up 18 more on his own. As for the player values, they go asIMG_2094.thumb.PNG.9c7ddd989c3bcb1909d4083428d71c7c.PNGVery good values for young players in the 5th (soon to be 4th) tier! As for the more prolific players, their stats areIMG_2095.thumb.PNG.08a0ae4a27a9b87293d647d7836ccdf0.PNGThe product of A.C. Milan, very solid stats. With a big club release clause, there's a good chance I lose him, but until then, i plan on using the young maestro as often as possible. IMG_2096.thumb.PNG.caa6c7c43b68efc401c308ed102d7f57.PNGThe real life stoke player was released after never playing in a game. He was a key part with his very good strength and shooting, debatably becoming our most critical player. However, he always seems to be displeased by training. IMG_2097.thumb.PNG.2f4bbea2bfb8d8e8badc9c0245763507.PNGIMG_2098.thumb.PNG.38c0f0eb7451a7ed3e240bbd4431b3d2.PNGThe Cameroonian combo! These athletic freaks could not be stopped all year, and I expect that to carry on for years to come. These two are on a whole different level than the rest of the vanarama national league, and should continue to dominate in League two.

I've completed one of my short term goals, and with the board refusing to upgrade any facilities, I will now focus on getting to championship as soon as possible. Great season! Mason out

Great couple of seasons mate. You seem to be devloping a bit of rivalry with Forest Green hopefully you can get passed them next time.

Keep up the good work looking forward to next season.

As luck would have it, Forest Green just won the promotional playoff, meaning I play them twice more in league next year and potentially FA cup

Beginning of Season Four

And I am in the football league! I've informed my board on plans to achieve mid-table, although I did that last year and won so who knows. Promotion to League two provided me with a massive influx of money, so I've placed a major emphasis on locking my stars up long term with no release clauses. That doesn't mean i didn't make transfers, however. IMG_2106.thumb.PNG.c5145943bee6a43aa6a8246911ad68db.PNGIMG_2107.thumb.PNG.9e77b3891e9010a9f4d38a24df7e6ec3.PNGPlenty of youth academy players off of Bosman to further build our loaded youth talent. Embolo is a physical defender from Cameroon, offering me a good replacement for my aging backs, and Juan sebastian is a 20 year old midfielder with wonderful stats, a new gen that can greatly help. Losing Thomson was hard, as we do bear phoenically similar last names, but with quique and a plethora of strong central midfielders, it was time to let him go. My team is young and hungry, and could shock the football league. All I'm  waiting for is my board to actually improve my facilities (it's been 3+ years and they're still both poor!). Wish me luck! Quick update!

Now that I am in League two, I qualify for the EFL cup! My first matchup was against Blackburn, former premier league champions who now reside in league one. So how did it go?

Spoiler

IMG_2108.thumb.PNG.6224f5741d54d4e412a4399992111297.PNGWow!! A big upset, and a thrashing nonetheless! We completely dominated, and the scoreline could've been far worse. Amazing start to the season

I'm amazed at how well your guys are scoring with such low shooting stats.  When I was climbing in Spain, I found my strikers from the previous season to be somewhat inadequate in the higher leagues.

It's the Cameroonian talents. If you manage an African national team, more players appear in the game, and most of them have insane physical attributes. All it takes is some attacking training and they perform like world class players. But I must admit, I am pretty surprised too

Also it's good to see Im not the only American here in the community ????

Halfway through, so how am I doing so far? My first season in football league, it's expected to have some struggles, so let's see

Spoiler

IMG_2206.thumb.PNG.33fa025460ca78c25b02d5e0d0743172.PNGNot a damn chance. The tactic just murders teams, and my strategy of signing released youth players from big clubs really pays off. My two Cameroonian strikers are just toying with the league as wellIMG_2211.thumb.PNG.33d92b4bc63fd84933af43641f3cfed9.PNGCrazy!

Alongside that, Im putting together quite the run in the FA Cup!IMG_2208.thumb.PNG.f80994107c6cb0c0e9d90ab846be6355.PNGIMG_2207.thumb.PNG.b75e3b8487cf6e0434125f1b47a7ebd1.PNGA third round drawing of Birmingham could be the end of our journey though. Fortunately, no clubs have stolen my stars either! Major bonus! Great season, couldn't ask for more! Mason out

Looking great mate, 71 in 21!! What are you feeding them down in Manchester?! ?

Classic Cameroonian home cooking, how do you think my two strikers have combined for 102 goals this season? I clinched with 8 games left

End of season Four

It probably won't come as a surprise, but

IMG_2221.thumb.PNG.a135452744736deb5813414edc4bbb59.PNGI miraculously dominated the league, and broke every major record possible. In my first season too!IMG_2220.thumb.PNG.e2670bed94ae7127b2d64272de7a9d1b.PNGAn undefeated checkatrade trophy campaign only sweetened the season, and a third round exit to Birmingham in extra time is respectable. IMG_2222.thumb.PNG.97dfef1d1950ac6b424a15de453af584.PNG70 GOALS FOR FRANTZ. This man is unsellable, no questions asked. The team dominated all year, and with every key player under contract with no release clauses, the future is looking bright. My short term goals have all been accomplished, time to focus on the grind for championship

Beginning of season dive

In order to compete at a higher level, I knew I had to make some slight changes. First off, my main goalkeeper was a 17 year old italian kid, not going to cut it. Secondly, my left middy was a kosovan no namer regen. Seriously, does kosova even produce players? Nevertheless, I addressed these issuesIMG_2224.thumb.PNG.513032b840faf6b193451c641f8ec8f5.PNGif you've ever played in Scotland, you certainly know Kelly. I stuck to my model of signing young cut players, and got a Russian youngin to hold down the left sideIMG_2225.thumb.PNG.dd73d5b0d94ea53a313ca58f92d8a239.PNGdumped off unhappy and spare parts, and got 1.2 million out of a very mediocre player. Juan Sebastian's value tripled after the sale though, and losing him in the midfield will be a blow. So how have I done in the very brief season, in which I expect to hold a mid table position?IMG_2226.thumb.PNG.c2b14fa0be05e50678a8f3bbf0f2743d.PNGA strong start as always! IMG_2227.thumb.PNG.ea16db0c22945dcb6e0a2360c200a083.PNGNot to mention a trip to the third round of the EFL cup! Things are looking less cloudy in Manchester, maybe the city will finally have a long awaited good club!

How do you find the players you need. Like search or scouting

Usually I search through Africa, as I'm the Cameroonian national team manager so more Cameroonian players spawn for me. Eastern Europe usually produces cheap good youth players. I never buy from the major leagues

Steady progress! You're rocking it..keep going and we'll see FC United in the Championship next season. Then the real work begins and the Manchester clubs will start getting nervous. Can't wait for them derby games.

United and City are going to come calling for your players soon so you don't topple them off the top of the EPL

Cracking seasons there dude and 70 goals in a season is beyond huge
