Career Bad Boys at Celtic (Season 2 - Final Update)

So, i again lost my save due to overwriting and in frustration quite the games for a week or so. But seeing @danovic78 and @Rob taking on this brilliant challenge:

I had an inkling to do the same.

So, i will start at Celtic since my last challenge attempt was in Scotland only:

Season 1

Forgot the transfer screen but didn't do too much change except bringing in the two Brazilians

 

Season Performance

Won the league and the Betfred Cup but lost in the final of the Scottish Cup to eternal rivals Rangers. The European competitions are best to be forgotten.

 

League Performance

Didn't score as much goals as i would have liked with both Moraes and Soares tailing off at the fag end of the season.

League Points = 94

GD = 47

Total = 141

The Scottish Cup final was one of the most unfortunate that i have come across. Moraes missed a penalty and then had one goal ruled for off side otherwise he would have grabbed a meaty hattrick.

43 goals in 56 games @AvR of 7.87. He started the season well and then tailed off somewhat in the second half as he had to be often substituted.

 

Junior Moraes

He was even less impressive in 1st half of the season but consolidated in the second half before going for a spin in the final 10 matches where he failed to hit any goals. 

 

Soares = 43

Moraes = 38

GD + LP = 141

Total Points = 222

 

We need a big second season if we are to get anywhere close to the leaderboard.

Nice going. I dont think Moraes is as good as he was in last years game but still doing a decent job.

Again missed out on the Scottish Cup but had an unbeaten campaign in the league and won the Betfred Cup for the second year running.

I had asked the team to give their best in this season and perform they did with an unbeaten campaign to boot for

45 goals in 58 games @AvR of 7.87.  He scored two more goals and played 2 more matches than last season.

 

Junior Moraes

He played 5 less matches but broke the 40 goal mark.

Moraes = 41

GD + LP = 162

Total Points for Season 2 = 248

Total Challenge Points = 248 + 222 = 470 points.

 

Nowhere near the points posted but a decent effort from my side. Perhaps the choice of league was wrong.

@samhardy, mate if you can add me to the leaderboard.

Deceptively difficult this one. Dan’s score, and Ian’s DT, make DT look a lot easier than it is.

Thanks guys. It also didn't help that the two Brazilians missed almost 20 penalties in 2 seasons which could have made the score different.

Good score mate, so difficult i find to get two strikers working in tandem but you have done a great job here. Hope to try this challenge myself soon.

Interesting because I’ve always done best with two strikers. I also have a shadow striker and 2 IFs or Wingers so we just score stacks of goals every seasons.

Thanks. Ya, injuries and their inability to score from penalties affected this challenge a lot.
