Tactics 4-2-2-2 "AWESOME FOURSOME" tactic

Hello again, 

Posting the second tactic here, and this one is absolutely dominating. If you missed out on my first one, here is a link to that tactic, which got a lot of positive reviews. 

About this new tactic, this is one I created with RB Leipzig and got massive success, now trying it with Spurs and it's been getting wins, clean sheets and lots of goals. Works especially well against big teams that try to attack.

Please note I was not using this tactic first 2 seasons, the ManCity loss came when I had another tactic.

 

Alright. Let's see the tactic. 

There you go, anyways as I always say.. Every tactic requires certain type of players for it work properly. So see these key attributes that you should consider for this tactic (attributes mentioned are what's required in addition to the default attributes for the role) 

SK: Agility, Kicking

BPD: Aerial, Pace, Strength

WB: Tackling

DLP: Tackling

AP: Dribbling

IF: Teamwork, Creativity

TM: Passing, Decisions, Teamwork, Pace

P: Aerial, Dribbling

So started new season with Luton and wow!! Amazing including a 3-0 away win against Tottenham 👌🏻💪🏻 top of league and going from strength to strength. Cheers mate

Glad it's working well for you.

Told you it works very well against top teams who try to attack. Now wait till you get perfect players for the roles and you will be unstoppable.

Meanwhile I just finished a whole season unbeaten in all competitions, racking up 7 trophies in a single season. When you have perfect players for the roles I mentioned, you are the god of football.

I am sure it will be unstoppable with the right players. Do you think I should play my strongest team at all times even though some players maybe unhappy?

Yes I use strongest players for roles or isn't as strong, I tried poacher as tm and was no way as good 💪🏻

So I won the championship and goal difference is incredible 😂 I can't wait to start in prem and see how it holds up. Need a decent TM I think.....

Just joined Chester in the Vanarama North after they fired their trainer. Played three matches and won all of them.

I'll share the final standings, currently stand 8th!

Not really, I have 2 squads.. One squad plays all CL and bigger league games. The other squad players cup games and easier league games. It's important to have required attributes for the tactic in both squads though.

That's the thing about this tactic, it's all out attacking, but generates solid defense as well. Getting most goals scored + least goals conceded is very rare. I once got a goal difference of 103 with this.

Thanks for trying. Seems like you need a new defence there. I rarely conceded more than 1 goal in a match. Look for the recommended attributes when buying players. Cheers 👍

Tried a new one with Villa. Got to Jan first season, sitting around midtable. Decent results so far. Obvious that the team quality is not there, over-achieving by being mid table really. 
Looking forward to going forward with this tactic when I can get better quality into the club.

I like the look of this, going to give it a try with O - Lyon, see if I can stop the PSG dominance!! But having looked at the wouldn't it make more sense the TM’s key attribute as heading instead of the poachers? What’s the thinking behind it?

The attributes listed per role are in addition to traditional attributes for those roles.

As for the tactic, works pretty good considering the players I had. Let in alot of goals, but my defenders and keeper were meh. Also, my TM had less than 11 for heading and still performed quite well.

Now managing a club without suitable players but it seemed pretty good for the season I used this, good enough for being one of my four favourites (others being deep's 3-5-2, Cote 4-1-2-1-2 and currently danK7RNY's wide 4-3-3, all of which seem to achieve better than you would expect regarding the quality of my players).

Did you buy some players with the recommended attributes? Should be doing better than mid table if you have suiting players.

Is heading a default attribute for TM? Yes. So I didn't mention it. Hence means that both the Poacher and TM should have good heading. Why the Poacher needs good heading is because the tactic generates good crosses from the WB, and the Poacher is the first one to reach those crosses, so he must be able to head it into the net. Also since passing is mixed, not every long ball reaches the TM, some go towards the Poacher and if he doesn't have good heading then possession is lost at that moment.

In conclusion, the Poacher should have good attributes to be a Poacher (default attributes such as Shooting, Technique, Decisions, Movement and Pace), plus good Dribbling and Aerial. The TM should have a natural TM's attributes (like Aerial, Shooting, Strenght, etc..), plus the attributes I mentioned specifically. Got it?

Yes brought a couple in. Main issue at villa is transfer budget is small for the rebuilding job needed. Few games into second season now, sitting pretty in top 6.

That's actually really good. You can make it into Europe hopefully.

It wasn’t a critique!! It was a genuine question specifically around the poacher role, no need to be arsey about it 😂 ...

Hopefully. Still not got the exact team i need, couple of weak links. Focused on buying youth mainly so in like 2/3 years time squad should be unbeatable. Decent tactic though mate, positive signs are there, even in the defeats/draws ive had.

You got me wrong. I'm not being 'arsey'. I just tried to explain it in a bit detail so that no one else will be confused about that in the future. Maybe it sounded rude, but I didn't mean to.

Get gold bagde youth scout and a bargain hunter. Send youth scout to South America and bargain hunter to Central Europe. That's what I always do, gets me the best gems out there.
