Career Geordiekrispy's Badge 02: MNS - The Last Dance

Following on from my better than I expected results of the Tottenham Badge, I decided to take on @Scratch's “Last Dance” badge as per below:

 

My transfers weren’t massively squad changing, obviously getting in Neymar and Suarez were the priority, other than that I thought they could do with a bit more in defence, the midfield for all it lacked “bite” I essentially needed them to just get the ball from either the defense or win it back and then pass it forward to my front three.

I have to say I was really struggling to get Suarez scoring to start with, then he just turned into a goal machine in the second half of the season (after a little tactical tweak putting Messi out on the right as an IF rather than behind Suarez as a Trequiesta).

 

For the one other requisite we walked the league:

As you can see I had an almost unbeaten season, only losing on the final day… Which is the closest I’ve ever got to cheating and restarting from the last save point… I did rage quit, but then came back to that auto save point after the game as I had the Champions League final to play still.

Yes I did technically lose my second leg of the quarter final to Man City, but as I wont the tie it shows as a win overall:

But seriously, great job. Neymar did well for you with all those assists. What position was he playing? And was he on corners? He did well for me also, but I've seen people complaining about him, so he seems to be one of those players who shines in some systems, but not so much in others...

He was playing as left IF in the AML position.

Yeah he was on corner duty, but he was tired most of the season.

 

I'd dropped all three down to low intensity training, but Messi wanted more, so I bumped him back up to normal.

 

I'm just gutted I didn't get a perfect season, and in the last game of the season too...

I still can't quite bring myself to play people in the IF position, even when it's obvious that I should! Might finally try it next time. 😄 

Yeah, I had them on Low Intensity but sometimes had them tired a lot, it's not a magic cure for it. Although, it is a sucky season with so many games packed in to a shorter timeframe. I'm doing badge 1 now and near the end of season 1 I had literally 2 days between games for a couple of games in a row!
