Cheers Scratch, I’m finding the smallest of changes on this years game are having a really big affect on things, certain attributes for certain positions are vital as well, but that’s same as every year 😁

I wish I could find them too mate, have experimented much more than last year but everytime something looks like it works, it loses effectiveness and I change and repeat the whole process! Have a few tactics that are okay, but nothing approaching last year (or that will get me near the top of the leaderboards for things like this). Still that's a great reason to press on and play more! 🙂

Yeah to be fair, I’ve only used certain tactics for a short period, I want to implement the one I used here in to a long term career, when that will be I don’t know, I’ve got so many careers on the go, Augusta taking my time for now! I’m sure you’ll crack it soon 😁

Attempt 2

Hello guys, well I really enjoyed having a go at this last time out and thought I had smashed it but then people outdone my score by a lot, so thought I would go about this again, but this time with a massively different approach, I am going all out attack this time, I genuinely don’t know how this will go, I’ve tested the tactic in my Augusta challenge but I have no idea how it will go in the Prem.

Formation 

 

So yes, only two defenders will be used, the wingers will actually be inside forwards as well, my plan is to score as many as possible and surely Fernandes will get a lot of assists and goals. I will go more in to the tactic once I’ve made my signings.

I will still post my results even if it goes badly which I suspect it could, because having two defenders in the prem may be a bit mad 😂

Very happy with the transfer business we done, I got rid of everyone I wanted to get rid of and also brought in enough players to cover every position.

Team Line Ups

Team A

 

Team B

Goalkeeper - So the thinking with bribing in Unai Simon is that he have only two centre backs and need someone that can sweep up for me, he’s got good pace, agility, positioning, technique and is an all round good keeper where as De Gea had poor stats in some areas. 
 

Defenders - PACE, that’s the biggest thing here as we will probably face a lot of situations of 3 on 2 or even 5 on two, I’ve got all centre backs training on positioning as I need them in the right place and not wandering off.  
 

 Midfield - The CM’s are all round solid midfielders and are very important, they spearhead things here, I’m a massive fan of box to box midfielders and the 4 I have can be used as either BBM or CM. I’ll start with CM as they keep things simple and don’t wander from there much and will try and find Bruno hopefully and he can do his magic.

Attackers - Not as much thought went in to the Inside Forwards and the Strikers to be honest, I always try and sort my midfield and defence first so didn’t give myself too much of a budget on these. Córdoba is massively underrated, he’s got great all round stats needed for a striker. I was thinking of getting rid of Rashford and Martial but thought I’d give them a chance, maybe in attempt 3, they’ll go 😉

Bruno - Now he’s down as T for the first game, but I’m going to rotate him with the AP role as assists are two points, we shall see how it goes.

Newcastle United vs Manchester United

So away to my beloved Newcastle first game of the season. I used Bruno as an AP in this game and as you can see, he had a lot of the ball. We got lucky with having a penalty late on so he got get a goal and assist in our first game.

Manchester United vs Burnley

Well after the performance last time out I would now keep him as a AP, until things maybe weren’t going so well. This game was even better as he grabs 3 assists and a goal.

Manchester United vs Leicester City

Our seconds get a run out today and we keep up our great from even though two penalties and an own goal is the only thing we could muster up today. Are we becoming the real life Manchester United?

Leeds United vs Manchester United

So we don’t win for the first time and I think this shows how leaky two at the back can be, never mind as the purpose it to get Fernandes goals and assists and he gets one of each today.

Manchester United vs Chelsea

 So only an assist today for Bruno in the final game of September, this was our second team though and they played pretty well. Luckily Mctominay is only out for a week as I stupidly only have 4 central midfielders. Kamara can slot in if needed but he is very defensive.

Manchester United vs Sheffield United

So we start off October with a resounding win over Sheffield United. No goal for Fernandes, but two assists which is nice.

Manchester United vs Aston Villa

So Bruno’s best game thus far, being involved in all 4 gales which will do nicely, dominating games here.

Slovan Bratislava vs Manchester United

So Bruno could not getting anything right in this game, a massive seven shots and 5 on target but no goals, nice that there keeper made 15 saves. There played is blank as he wasn’t real.

Manchester City vs Manchester United

Derby day and what a derby it was, Martial saving the day for us in the 94th minute. Bruno had a few shots again and more than anyone but no goal which is a shame, he did get an assist though so not all bad.

Zenit vs Manchester United

So I actually tried him as a T this game and it did not work and I won’t be heading back to that again, he was no where near as involved as when he plays as an AP.

Liverpool vs Manchester United

Our best performance of the season and Bruno is heavily involved as he bags a goal and lays on two others. I will mention I played deep in this game and still overload, but it seemed to work great against there pace.

November 

Manchester United vs Atalanta

So our first defeat of the season, very disappointing, we played well, but I’m starting to think we may need to shop about in January for a new striker. An assist for Bruno but I need him getting goals.

Manchester United vs West Ham

Good performance and a goal and assist for Bruno to reply to our first defeat of the season.

Southampton vs Manchester United

Another decent performance and only the one goal for Bruno, no assists, this doesn’t feel like it’s going as well as I hoped, but I still haven’t looked to see how many he has.

Atalanta vs Manchester United

How did we not win this one? So many shots again and Bruno has 8 shots but only one from the spot he scores. Very frustrating.

 Manchester United vs Crystal Palace

Plenty of goals for everyone but Bruno again, seems like it’s becoming a thing now. Last game of the month, I will be trying to tinker a little bit after this game and see if I can get more through him.

Don’t even think this is going to beat my previous attempt the way it’s going, I’m going to tinker and see, the formation won’t change though.

League Table

The league is going great and we are averaging a massive 4.5 goals a game, just a shame there not all going through Bruno for now.
