Career George, are you insane?

Right now I need one back-burner career as I have two long run careers but I need more to fill up my gaming time.

Those two careers are the H2H with @geordiekrispy and the Ticket to Ride (TTR) game and both get me around one season per week...

So I decided to take one, maybe, the hardest challenge around here, The Impossible Youth Academy Challenge created by @broodje kip.

 

In short, I have loaded all the available leagues in all of UK (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Sheep Country aka Wales). I need to:

• Start unemployed, no badge and no reputation. 
• Win every possible trophy in these countries. 
• Use only players that are from the Youth Academy and greyout players.
• Sell or release all other players
• No transfers allowed!

Season 1. Update 1

Is late November and I got my first job, I'm moving to Wales. 

 

After 12 games the team is second to last with only 9 points. At least the finances are OK! 

 

I've sent to the reserves squad all the ineligible players (I will try to sell to get some money) and I'm left with this....

 

I will offer contracts to all the grey out players...

Season 1. Finish

Not sure what have myself got into 🤣 The night have passed and now I see it with fresh eyes and I think is the most stupid career that I ever had 🤣🤣🤣 

Still... I will play 2-3 seasons to better understand the situation and then I will know if is do-able or not. The fact that you have no stream of income and the club looks like this... 

It will make extremely hard to improve the facilities, that means the players have no coaches and facilities to improve... 

Anyway, first season is over and I've managed to keep the team out of the relegation spots.

And this is me at the end of the season, transfers - 🤣 The weird stuff is that I'm not a coach in the staff list... There is no space for me and another coach!! 

I think a small source of income can be the greyout players in the reserve squad, sign them and try to sell.. And keep the better ones for me or for the reserve squad so they will develop and get more money out of them. Right now any greyout players is valued at 500 pounds... 

 

In the end, what can I say! Yes, I'm insane for doing this...

The worst 1st season in FMM21 is winning only the league 🤣🤣🤣... In fact was 1st in the regular season with Atletico Baleares and 3rd after the play off. All other careers I had was winning the league. 

The worst 1st season in my entire FMM here on Vibe I think is 5th...

This is on the whole new level!!

Season 2. Youth Intake

I got these two guys... The goalkeeper is rated with 5 starts potential... Useless as half of the greyout players have 5 stars potential. 

The development of players is sooo slow that you can barely see them moving. 

This challenge is impossible. It will take 55-60 seasons to succeed and I got only 30. 

I'm about halfway through the season and I can see me getting maybe 10th place... 

That's being told: abort mission! 

I should have done some testing before jumping into this... but I never do 🤣🤣🤣
