I forgot Spurs were playing. With the sheer mass of footy we’re are getting I am finding it impossible to keep track.

On the subs, I feel that the ‘5 subs + water breaks + no fans = training game’ at the moment.

In fact, anyone want to tell me why we are having water breaks? It ruins any kind of flow a game has.

They’ll have the ‘players playing too many games and we need a long winter break’ thing that comes up every year in mind I think.

Now they can say ‘you’ve got your five subs, use them and you have two drink breaks so get on with it’.

When it’s a blistering 15C in Newcastle they need them 

I think the actual reason is that players aren’t allowed to share water bottles so a formal break for a drink is the best option to avoid any slip ups that might happen when they just grab any bottle they can get.

At some point the Watford owners might realise that instead of binning off manager after manager they might actually need to refresh the squad a bit with some new players and stop relying solely on Troy Deeney.
