Its there parents. Boateng is half-bro/brother (not sure which) of Kevin Prince Boateng. KP chose to play for Ghana whereas Jerome chose to go Germany.

Portugal have been extremely hard done by imo, ref has been perfetic and Germany got a lucky deflection to get the winner. Should be an interesting group to watch though :)

How did they? They scored from a fluke and Portugal hit the post twice, ok Portugal defended more than attacked but its not like Germany created many clear cut chances. Defending may not be a pretty way to play but its still football at the end of the day.

Spain potentially doing the right thing with De Rossi at DC in a 352. Fabregas can pull him out to DMC to allow Iniesta/Silva to cut in and Xavi to overlap. De Rossi's discipline in an unknown position and Pirlo's marking will be key today I feel in a potential 4v4.

ITV are full of shit. Apparently Italy are playing a back 5 yet they line up next to the CMs as soon as the ball is cleared and to me that shows defensive wingers not wing backs - like Napoli play (Maggio plays for them who is one of the defensive wingers).

Funny wing back, as I speak Maggio is in the AMR spot.

It's been a fantastic game. In going for Spain as they're probably going to top the group anyway so Italy is our chance to qualify but theyve been immense and look as likely as Spain to score
