Anyway, going great! Looking like you'll make it to 1K but might need to be a long career - but you can do it!  Glad you sorted out the consistency issue with the team. And interesting tactic - to be honest, I've only ever used 1 up front for a 1KC, so interesting to see 2 up front work.

                        SEASON 10 

I would say a milestone. 10 years in this career and it feels like I have tried everything as far as tactics, players and their roles... And I have posted my tactic in my last update which which I thought would work constantly for me. And it did:  

I mean 41 goals in first 12 games it's a hell of result. I just lowered my second striker to CM cause he got 7 goals in 7 games with 5 assists.  But then something bad happened 

I didn't mention it for 9 seasons!!! But here it is a first major injury. I am sure Kean was going for record season, like 70+ or so. Anyways, he missed 4 games and never got back... 

37 goals in 37 games... I am still 501 goals away. 

One of two things happening here: 

1. I am not capable of making someONE score loads of goals or;
2. Kean is not THE one to complete this mission faster then 20 seasons.

You decide. 

Speaking of Moise and his penalties... He misses 60-70% of it.

We dominated every competition starting with Dutch and Euro Super Cups

walked through Dutch league winning it at 28 games mark

Won World championship

Dutch Cup

and a pretty easy campaign in CL after kicking out Zenit and a Romanian whatever team out of group stage and letting Sevilla take 2nd place

and MU

you'd think SemiFinal would be harder?

After his injury Moise just wont score. I got tired of changing and tweaking and believing...

He is still the best player in the world

We'll see gow it is going to go further, I finally got him to score 10 in last 5 which is pretty good. Hopefully he'll keep it going

Not bad year mate, how old is he now, 25-26? I think you can do it, that tactic looks good and he scored 10 in 5, as you said. Keep pushing mate!

Ah man, unlucky with the injury. It's still a good season. Hopefully he can regain his form from before the injury next year. Don't worry yet, it's still doable.

Another season with not enough goals

We won almost everything

Otherwise, sorry, no comments. I am very frustrated with number of goals. Feels like it is going to be 20+ seasons for Kean. Tired... any advice on tactic may be?

Unlucky dude. Still going well, I think if he stays on until 38 or so he could hit the target. You playing him as a PA?

I have tried him as Poacher, Complete and even Advanced Forward

                   SEASON 12 

Let me start with showing 2 games which gave me hope

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Kean actually scoring 4 penalties in one game and just couple weeks later scoring SIX!!! 

I thought:"here it is, here is that world class striker who is going to score 70" 

Yeah... no. He never did anything else phenomenal in this season and finished it with his average 52 goals

He has 392 goals to go which is roughly 7-8 seasons with the pace he chose, but he is 28 

as you can see his physical is good, just pace is dropping a bit every year

We always start a season with Super Cup games

and almost always end a season with Cup Finals 

and yes Kean scored in all of them this year, which gets me thinking: why he does not score in games with mediocre teams. And playing Dutch league most teams are mediocre or even armatures.

Anyhow, Dutch league was a  walk-through again

We won it with 7 games to go...

a CL wasn't much harder but a little different. Starting with Chelsea in group stage

but a 8 points gap from Roma made me feel good

first knock-out with A. Madrid who is never a easy team

and a Quater finals with Sevilla who's starting 7 are my former players

En Nesyri my former forward did score twice, trying to prove a point?   

Semi final with Bayern, a titan of European football

and a final once again

by the way that long name Arsenal striker is my former player as well. 

I'm not sure what am I doing wrong... may be it is my mentality: I win most games, draw sometimes and lose games very rarely. But I'm pretty sure you all do the same but still get your guys to score... May be I should not tweak tactic right after they score and we are down one goal or may be it is a problem with Kean. I took some time and approximately he had 155 shots ON target, not so bad 1/3 he scored... but he had almost 300 shots in total. He scored give or take 1/6 of all of his shots. Some games he had rating 5 with 7 shots and 0 on target. 

I mean my main job, I think, was to build a team which would create chances for him and he would score. Pretty sure I've done my part, ~300 shots in 52 games is a damn good ratio I believe...

P.S. I will try more, I will finish this career no matter what. But as of right now I think I might do another 1KC with another kid just to test myself and see if Moise is my problem or not.

Keep going mate you can do it, I've just got him to 1000 and he's 34. It was tough at times and I felt like giving up as he's so inconsistent as you say, and also he missed well over 100 penalties... he's so bad at them lol.

Just played another game: 7 shots 3 on target first half and 1/0 second half... wtf?!

Scoring less in second half of season - I usually put this down to usually having tougher games than the first half. Before January you have early cup games verse pub teams and usually easier European games, the second half is the business end where the games get tougher etc. 

Goal wise I think you're being hard on yourself as he seems to be doing well. He's about to peak and it's now until he's 30 that should make the difference.

Kean is 29 yo and yet he gives me another pathetic season...

45 in 56 games... I'm tired of tweaking tactic. Every time I think I found the one and Moise scores 2 or even 4... then he goes with 0s for next few games  

I simply don't know what to do with this lad. He still have 347 goals to go.

This season we just dominated every competition we were in. Won Dutch league without losses

Btw did you noticed? Kean scored in 4 Finals again... I guess he is the guy for big games.

 

 

yeah... well... I will keep on going. But I do understand why most people quit commenting or even reading my updates  lack of progress and results is not interesting to see. People like to read about something exiting, not pathetic slow pace going career.

A little update to a season. I didn't save before exiting the game...

So one less goal for Kean... what a shame.

I haven't lost interest neither, these are the best type of challenges, where things don't go the poster's way, seeing somebody keep plugging away and claw it back is great, so tense!

Check the players (who are supposed to be assisting Kean, the supporting cast if you will) player traits, sometimes the best advanced playmakers or wingers have the cut inside, shoots from distance or tries first time shots traits, which could easily hinder your main man

Brenty makes a great point, with my tactic in my International 1KC save I only pick wingers who don't have the Cut Inside trait. Will make them assist your striker more.

Defo not losing any interest mate, agree with what the lads have said about your providers they are taking to many of Keans goals. Keep it up mate I totally understand your frustrations with him but don't give up.
