That fake players thing is very annoying and definitely seems to be linked to when you play international in a save or CWC years. Must be too many games in a season for the game to handle.

A very nice season again, certainly well on course. Just need to keep it up now.

It’s proper doing my head in Ian, I’ve remembered this year to screenshot as I’m going luckily. But I think your guess is right too many games causes it.

Yeah Delap has been great from the start, Stewart is coming in to his own now which is great, he is relentlessly ambitious though which is so annoying as he complains a lot and affects team morale as he’s a leader but a Cnut of a leader. Cheers dai 😁

Season 8

Hello and welcome back, I actually completed this season yesterday, which hasn’t been like me at all lately, been struggling to find motivation and enjoyment from the game. But that returned the last couple of days. So anyway let’s see how season 8 went shall we.

In’s 

So we had a couple of notable free’s here with Haaland and Donnarumma joining us in the primes of there lives. With us using Delap and Stewart for this challenge Haaland is only being used as a sub, but what a sub to have. We have got a very good young goalkeeper that’s come through the academy who’s been starting the last couple of seasons but it’s hard not to play Donnarumma. Galvao was a very good young CB on my game, but he doesn’t come in to start as we got local lad Tony Kent starting as CB and he’s a beast.

Out’s 

So we make a whopping 169m on Christian Lopez who’s a Spanish international and has scored 14 in 6 games for the national side. He’s everything I wanted Delap and Stewart to be with 19 aerial and strength, 20 movement and again 19 shooting. But with Haaland coming in for free I could accept him going.

Local Lads

Just wanted to give you a picture of how my youth team keeps producing outstanding youngsters. Ben Christene and Tyreik Wright were at the club when this save started and have become very important as my two LW’s. There’s a good 5 or 6 players now 16/17 as well who will become very important to our team. 
 

Club Results

So another great season for sure, just the FA cup meaning we don’t do another clean sweep.  But I’m very happy with how the season went. We are now easily the best team by a country mile so should be like this.

International Results

 

Pretty dominant again but an away loss to Slovakia and a draw against Azerbaijan means we are now second in the world behind the might Mexico. Who always seem to be up there. I did change tactics too many times this season, need to stop doing that tbh.

So the boys are pretty much neck to neck with goals for the first time, if it wasn’t for Stewart’s attitude problems I’m sure he would be getting a lot more to be honest. But I’m happy, down on last season and season before. But that isn’t bothering me much.

Yeah they came straight through the academy, a high number of my players are now from the academy which I love!

Yeah he’s got the attributes but he’s got a terrible personality which leaves him down. Hopefully as he gets older he can become better. Thanks mate 😁

So he has 4 years left on a 625k a week deal but he wants a new one but out of the generosity of his own heart he’s willing to take a pay cut of 425k to now a just 220k. How stupid is that, not going to complain though 😂

If I was watching that final in real life it would have been the best final ever, but I have to remember I’m the England manager, what a way to lose a final, even though it was deserved, they created Havoc to be fair to them the Italians. I haven’t been sacked anyway, not yet anyway.

So this happened out of nowhere reallg I didn’t expect him to get any new attribute boosts now but he had an extra 3 added to his aerial to get to 20.

Season 9

So welcome back, this is the 3rd season I’ve complete in a week, which is more like it. After it being a struggle to get through seasons this year. But I feel like I have my Mojo back a little now and I’m getting through a season in a day or two.

So not much to note here but we did bring in Messi’s regen from aroma which I really wish I hadn’t now as I didn’t do my homework and he’s got an awful personality and he’s causing bloody ructions. So I loaned him out in the end. I will be looking to sell the little bugger I think. 
 

Transfers Out

Sergio Dest was pretty good but 95m for a 27 year old RB is always going to be accepted in my eyes. We have Reece James there and a very good academy graduate in that position with 17 crossing already so it was a no brainer for me. 
 

Alphonoso Davies just never got to a stage of being the great LB for whatever reason and he was third choice so he could go. LB is probably the only position though I think I need strengthening soon.

So I remembered to screenshot the games as they went and it was a very good season again in terms of trophies. But we are pretty awesome to be honest. We are so strong everywhere, you’ve got to have a proper shit tactic not to win most things. Which luckily I haven’t yet 😝

International Results

 

So after losing the Euros on penalties we really reacted well and are battering teams internationally. We got the usual terrible Germany in the final of the nations league and it was easy. A nice 6 goals between the boys. We will be playing Wales soon and I’m not looking forward 😰

So I’m determined to actually spend less than we bring in, so expect more big sales coming up. Very happy with the average goals now as well.

The Villains

So I think this is our best season yet, a massive 159 goals between them. It’s weird how Delap continues to score more than Stewart even though Stewart actually played Delaps role from previous years. Got to say, they are bloody awesome when it comes to injuries. I do take them off in games with plenty of gas left in the engine. But one 10 day injury from 1 game for Stewart is all they’ve had in 3 years. Love them for it.

So over the 1,000 mark now which is lovely for them being 26, hopefully I can keep going for a while yet. I’m not bored yet. Also joint best season for the boys.

Thanks mate, Stewart’s stats now compared to the first season is ridiculous. Such an awesome transformation. I think it’s one of the reasons I’m enjoying it so much. Delap is great considering his attributes don’t match up to Stewart.
