Hi guys, I'm back as another Viber attempting @mcandrew003's "Premier Honour" Challenge, and I know there are at least 4 others doing this challenge at the moment so not too worried if it doesn't get a big following, just wanted something fun to do alongside my 1K and CC (if I'm still in that is).

For those who are still unaware of this challenge here's the OP from the Master of Challenges on FMM 17 Mr.Mcandrew003 himself

So now that we're all familiar with the challenge, lets get right too it, and I have 2 full seasons to catch you up on.

Taff Does "The Premier Honour" Challenge

Season 1

England

So I've decided the same as everyone else to start in England, and I have chosen a team who haven't got the same love from me this year as the previous two installments of the game

                                                                                                               download.png.ddfa500ea05191099cec758f3e5b5f25.png

                                                                                                                    The Mighty Gunners of Arsenal

                                          IMG_4857.thumb.PNG.25dd8e932bafaa6d2787294e0a913549.PNG

So Here we begin our journey with a team who I've used plenty in the past, and in my eyes a team who should be doing much better, considering the talent they have, although saying that I did hit the Transfer Market to boost certain areas

Transfers

Spoiler

IMG_4940.thumb.PNG.e50bc6624a8f129f90a8fe93e3f54779.PNG

The big buy this year was Dybala as I think the Gunners need an out and out striker (who isn't a constant Injury worry, sorry Welbeck), Welbeck and Debuchy made way to allow me to bring in my new star striker, then at the end of the year, Walcott made way and this allowed me to strengthen my CD position bringing in Rudiger at the start of the new season

So with the squad sorted, we set off to grab as many honours as we could in our first season

Competitions

Spoiler

Domestic

We began the season aiming to clinch the EFL Cup as our first major trophy,

IMG_4912.thumb.PNG.05db27b5a63e2253e5d7d3bc34e55ed5.PNG

However United had different plans and came back swinging in the second leg, to knock us out of the competition

The League however was a different story

IMG_4916.thumb.PNG.6656972c8d259368c0f182d88e39367c.PNGIMG_4922.thumb.PNG.f350773deb0ed7675e9370937a009638.PNG

A fairly comfortable league win, but Chelsea were breathing down our necks most of the way, and we almost went unbeaten, but lost 3-1 to Liverpool on the final day of the season

We also had the FA Cup to consider

IMG_4924.thumb.PNG.20c8a237e63ca8b8790ce2cec7e457a2.PNGIMG_4923.thumb.PNG.9e2e52f4ec3e80e8e085bbd66edba5d0.PNG

But a brace from new star man Dybala helped seal a great 3-0 win over rivals Chelsea

Europe

We had a decent season in Europe this year, our group draw almost gave me a heart attack, being drawn with Real Madrid, PSV and Shakhtar...

IMG_4911.thumb.PNG.1609c1276dc8df6c535254267fd5e00e.PNG

But we shouldn't have worried, and swept aside all competition to win the group comfortably and progress to the knockout round, and our reward for a great group round, a first knockout round game against PSG

IMG_4914.thumb.PNG.cc3eb6e6f52feef7f3bf7bab4a099efd.PNG

But thanks to a great 4-2 win in the first leg and a single goal from Sanogo at home, we move on to the quarter finals 5-2 winners, next up German team FC Red Bull

IMG_4915.thumb.PNG.0e1b58ab51b400e7ead2bb2ef35d6055.PNG

Another great display in the opening leg saw us walk into the home leg 4-1 up, and almost a repeat game if not for the 2 disallowed goals, but we still walk away 6-2 winners and move on to face Italian Giants Juventus in the semi finals

IMG_4918.thumb.PNG.abf420f890327c41c6cdcaf8ddf1a554.PNG

Where the home game was a tight 3-2 win, but a brace from Iwobi in Italy seals the deal and Arsenal head to Cardiff to play our group mates Real Madrid in the UCL Final

IMG_4926.thumb.PNG.a95177b33066ac13afa4edb0822ecc09.PNGIMG_4925.thumb.PNG.becb03ac5f9477ec95b567e82ab6b880.PNG

OH that was a close one, Sanchez leaves it till the dying minutes to score and grab the win and the Gunners are UCL Champions

So a great first season clinching the League, FA and UCL Cups but missing out on the EFL cup was a blow, but it's only the first season

Goals/Assits

Spoiler

IMG_4936.thumb.PNG.2ae0aab11116daf0060bd5eef820bc36.PNG

Dybala led the way upfront this year, netting 44 goals for the season, but Asano who was used as a backup/filler for Dybala really impressed me this season performing very well and netting 16 goals (1 less than my main IF Sanchez)

A very good season all around suffering only 2 losses in all competitions

Dybala is named EPL POTY with Sanchez a close second

IMG_4920.thumb.PNG.043747d2c69bc46efbf8e858d7af2c18.PNG

Asano beats out Harry Kane for the EPL YPOTY, thanks to his great season for the club

IMG_4921.thumb.PNG.ac39360a191d41edc8a420ec340bc017.PNG

And I claim the MOTY award and rightly so after a cracking season

So there we have it, a pretty successful first season, lets hope we can carry on this form in season 2

And saying that lets get straight on to the second season

Taff does "The Premier Honour" Challenge

Season 2

England

So lets get straight to it guys, after a successful first season I was looking to improve the squad once again so I hit the transfer market, and I hit it Hard

Transfers

Spoiler

IMG_4971.thumb.PNG.e7f998078179d0eed838dd595f74b268.PNG

Coming in was Rudiger, who's transfer had been agreed at the end of season 1 and he comes in to help out my defence, Rabiot came in to be my new starting DLP (thanks to @fuddledfoxFM for his great article and showing me how to use a DLP to good advantage), Antonio came in as my new starting RW (with Walcott gone and AOC a serious injury risk, this guy is a great RW with all the right stats.  Amavi was my new LB to compete with Gibbs, Maguire another CD who has shown his class for Leicester already IRL, so I took a shot, and Balotelli as a backup TM (who was injured 90% of the time)

IMG_4972.thumb.PNG.a8494bcbd0cdd339a32c2f8e534be63c.PNGIMG_4973.thumb.PNG.e47a466d2471a5f384344b6c3452d9d6.PNG

So a few players leaving, Xhaka was a great player, but was unhappy sharing the spotlight with Rabiot, so the January window opened and we were £47M better off, £18.5M for Koscielny was good business which I couldn't turn down, then the rest were players who had been on loan last year and were offered up as fund raisers, then just unwanted players like Martinez and Cazorla and unused Graduate players

So we splashed almost £145M on new players, but did this improve the squad the way I wanted

Competitions

Spoiler

Domestic

We began this season with a Community Shield game against Man U

IMG_4942.thumb.PNG.ac2177644ba06d7ed41a0c2ff16c656e.PNGIMG_4941.thumb.PNG.69dc1204907dbd67131618b503f6e71e.PNG

Which we won quite comfortably thanks to a brace from Ozil

The EFL Cup went better this season

IMG_4959.thumb.PNG.061320e8ef90f6cc548436370c0dd472.PNGIMG_4958.thumb.PNG.5586aa7b80a65c5f97d01b7fb5d40423.PNG

Another solid win over the Blues and we win our First EFL Cup

The league also went very well

IMG_4962.thumb.PNG.c999d7978cd22ad9032ff14bf16066fa.PNGIMG_4966.thumb.PNG.0df71daf8a5e9fdc0d61d5ff222a3516.PNG

A much more comfortable win this year leaving United 18 points in our dust but we did lose 2 games but drew fewer as well so swings and roundabouts

The FA Cup was not as successful however

IMG_4961.thumb.PNG.aec887e49d832ebdef39dbbbbd83e26d.PNG

Getting knocked out thanks to an ET winner from Origi

Europe

We began the season with a chance to add the Euro Supercup to our cabinet, all that stood in our way was Inter Milan

IMG_4944.thumb.PNG.d1996dcd145e8a7d9a64ea26dd497026.PNGIMG_4943.thumb.PNG.2eb3dce28e49b7c5058ad72269a59b98.PNG

But Iwobi and Sanchez made sure of victory and our journey through Europe starts with a bang

Our group stage was another tough looking draw with Dortmund, Ajax and Sevilla all looking to claim that top spot

IMG_4945.thumb.PNG.e621b3340a918bb058359ba8d254b7c3.PNG

But a great run ending with a draw against Sevilla saw us end the group on top again, and we moved on to the knockout rounds.

Up first AC Milan

IMG_4960.thumb.PNG.db60ac3afc3339e00fbdf12a37c09379.PNG

A great 4-0 away win was almost undone as the Italians came out fighting, but they couldn't do enough and we move on to the quarter finals 5-3 agg winners.

Next stop PSG

IMG_4964.thumb.PNG.c96209e29fe82750f3b55938904601a1.PNG

And Dybala nets a hat-trick in the home game and a brace in the second leg to see us though 5-0 on agg, and we move on to face the other Spanish Team Barcelona in the UCL Semi Finals

IMG_4965.thumb.PNG.8399392981238b49444f9c6acaf15451.PNG

The first game ends in a 1-1 draw, and we manage to knick a draw in the second leg and then a brace from Asano in ET is enough to see Arsenal through to their second consecutive UCL Final

Where our opponents are Juventus

IMG_4970.thumb.PNG.d929af58b35c2d52292c054137d5ef51.PNG

And sadly neither team can break the deadlock after 120 minutes and a very tense penalty shootout goes the Italians way after a miss from Antonio

CWC

We also got the chance to compete in the CWC this year and as you'd expect it went well

IMG_4948.thumb.PNG.5ecfd9effc980141cf3dd4a732f44472.PNGIMG_4947.thumb.PNG.f05f8717dc1e357b77de982c2b2c5b7e.PNG

a Hat-Trick from Ozil ensures the victory and Arsenal claim the CWC for their trophy case

So a mixed bag of a season, we won our second league title, the community shield, EFL cup, Euro Supercup and the CWC, but missed out on the FA and UCL Cups

Team Stats

Spoiler

IMG_4974.thumb.PNG.906785fc6096b2d8f6e50ba7932470f1.PNG

Dybala started well this season netting 5 in his first 3 games, then a persistent run of small injuries meant his form took a hit and he ends the season as the 2nd highest goal scorer behind Sanchez, but considering he was at one point 7 in 18 games, he did well in the second half of the season to get back in form.

IMG_4975.thumb.PNG.352258b08a99c18e5f450d7685989ffb.PNG

Ozil once again leading the way with the assists and 31 is a hell of a total for one season.

A few more losses this season, with Man U and Liverpool continuing to be the bane of my existence

Sanchez claims the WPOTY

IMG_4967.thumb.PNG.fcb3b2ff603383ae0e6e19f4287c0281.PNG

And beats out Dybala for the EPL POTY

Iwobi this time claims the EPL YPOTY beating out Martial

IMG_4969.thumb.PNG.ce1e70c045a564287d46e24b87155b63.PNG

And it's another MOTY award for me

So there we have it guys, two good seasons and there's hopefully a lot more to follow

Here's how the trophy case looks after two seasons in England

England:

Premier Division: 2/7

FA Cup: 1/9

Community Shield: 1/10

League Cup: 1/4

European/Worldwide Titles

Champions League: 1/5

Europa League: 0/5

Club World Cup: 1/4

European Super Cup: 1/4

Total Titles: 8/100

So thanks for taking the time to read this I'll be back after another season with my 1K (and If I survived @samhardy's Demon of a CC challenge, I'll have another one of them to do as well)

Until the Next Time

Well at least Michail Antonio went for £27 million, you did just secure Westhams relagation though.

Good luck with the rest of the challenge seems to be a very popular one.

He's a cracking RW, but I've managed to get him for almost £10M less in other saves, but there you have it

Yeah, there haven't been too many long challenges on here this year, @danovic78 had a cracking one last year called "Follow the Zlat" which was grueling or the SAF challenge by @Risheek is another huge challenge to try and complete

Taff does "The Premier Honour" Challenge

Season 3

England

Sorry for the delay guys, but I'm back with an update on my attempt at the Premier Honours Challenge

So we left off with Arsenal having won the following Honours

Spoiler

England:

Premier Division: 2/7

FA Cup: 1/9

Community Shield: 1/10

League Cup: 1/4

European/Worldwide Titles

Champions League: 1/5

Europa League: 0/5

Club World Cup: 1/4

European Super Cup: 1/4

Total Titles: 8/100

So not too bad after two seasons, but need to pick it up this year

So I decided it was time to bring in some big guns to help us secure more honours this year, and we went huge

Spoiler

IMG_5110.thumb.PNG.1275a921d14e8276ebb19bf1d4cf41f6.PNGIMG_5111.thumb.PNG.0b17f1156c086ae6e0c6828833ce4036.PNG

First I had to clear out some players who weren't happy with their roles at Arsenal and sadly I had to let Ozil go in order to fund my star purchase, but it made all the difference

IMG_5109.thumb.PNG.a1e9c21d6589c7492b6f1b9a645fd520.PNG

As we bag Neymar from Barcelona for a steal at £150M (Buy him now guys as next year you will have no chance), then I also Grabbed Lindelof to give my CD a great backbone, West Brom's new Loan signing Krychowiak comes in as a backup CD/CM, de Jong as a TM to help out Giroud and Perch was a GK graduate who went on loan but has since been let go

So with the Worlds most expensive player now wearing a Gunners shirt we set off to claim all the Honours we could

Competitions

Spoiler

IMG_5098.thumb.PNG.55c38c81bda2904c3c80de238682b14a.PNG

Unfortunately the season didn't start in the best light with a 2-3 loss to United in the Community Shield and Luuk de Jong starts his competitive debut and last only 13 minutes, and that put us out of whack early on

IMG_5092.thumb.PNG.fceb491eebf723622d6fcd4c0e7d9d9d.PNGIMG_5091.thumb.PNG.ba27a981fc2c293155327c6ed7a14ae2.PNG

We do clinch the EFL cup thanks to a 2-0 win over West Ham, but looking at the stats we should have scored more

IMG_5095.thumb.PNG.5d8f0f1a27176b54e11d05b2700c62ca.PNGIMG_5102.thumb.PNG.d3c0c7c344610dfaece6a5d1613b0253.PNG

We smash the league and leave Chelsea sniffing our dust 24 points behind, went the whole season without a loss and only conceded 17 goals in the league while we bangged 97 in, a huge +80 GD

IMG_5104.thumb.PNG.710c593d1a944e11a2ff3f6bba1727aa.PNGIMG_5103.thumb.PNG.af3c2606e2d4519b2790817aa9842e21.PNG

We also clinch the FA Cup, but only after a very tight game with Liverpool that saw both teams go down to 10 men within 13 minutes and we rely on a good penalty shootout to clinch the Cup

Europe

We had some good success in the UCL as well

IMG_5089.thumb.PNG.5d38626715a69a2292e02b689298b161.PNG

We top our group with a clean sweep of 6 wins, and leaving our competition in the dust, and we move on to the first knockout round to face Bayern

IMG_5093.thumb.PNG.93614bb18ee5a1e2d880f864d953b636.PNG

We manage to knick a narrow 3-2 win in the away game and a late Dybala goal gives us the draw at home and sends us through to the quarter final with a 5-4 agg score.  Next up the Quarter Finals where we face SLB

IMG_5097.thumb.PNG.50a16937dd3dd8dd4d0cf5e9e39bec0c.PNG

This time we make sure of it with a 2-0 win away and then a 4-1 thumping at the Emirates to secure a very good 6-1 agg score and we move on to the Semi Finals to face Neymars old club Barcelona

IMG_5099.thumb.PNG.b97a84e24f93616c129e1b521a66f85e.PNG

Once again we manage a good away win in the first leg and then two goals in the opening 10 minutes of the second leg was enough to secure our place in the Final, where we come up against the club who broke the transfer record by some margin this summer (IRL) to steal Neymar away from the Nou Camp, PSG

IMG_5106.thumb.PNG.b5a19652927c3cb8b2093953f9a537b3.PNGIMG_5105.thumb.PNG.9438c348591ff547b9653639ea1e3026.PNG

And just as with the FA cup a very tight game ends in a tie after 120 minutes and we have to ride our luck in the shootout, but it does go our way and Arsenal are Champions of Europe

So an almost perfect season winning 4/5 honours available, but that Community Shield loss is going to haunt me as we still need 9 more before moving on

Here's how the Honours stand after 3 seasons in England

England:

Premier Division: 3/7

FA Cup: 2/9

Community Shield: 1/10

League Cup: 2/4

European/Worldwide Titles

Champions League: 2/5

Europa League: 0/5

Club World Cup: 1/4

European Super Cup: 1/4

Total Titles: 12/100

Dybala had a better season this year, but I did spend half the year with a three striker formation so the goals got shared out between Dybala, Neymar and de Jong, then Sanchez and Giroud proving very good subs bagging 28 between them

IMG_5108.thumb.PNG.158660e358229ed60ccfc9c86721568e.PNG

Neymar also laid on 29 assists this season as well from either the AF or IF role meaning he was directly involved in 65 of the teams goals, well worth £150M if you ask me

Neymar clinches the EPL POTY award with Dybala not far behind

IMG_5101.thumb.PNG.15222e6d68fdc117c52f799de40a99b5.PNG

And I grab myself another MOTY award too

So another season done and we're ticking along nicely, although those Community Shields have me worried still need 9, which means we have to win the league another 8 times at least

Hope you enjoyed this little update and I'll be back soon
