It just shows how good at the game I am! :D

You'll get a hang of it when you create more tactics...as you continue failing you'll understand your method or preferences in tactics. For example, I prefer the possession game :)

I currently have 23 points in the league but the amount of conceded goals is killing me: -14 GD

do I have to hel count that out for you? ;)

Ok, I've finished - would have done better if I didn't start so badly but I didn't do too badly.

League Points: 51

Cup Wins: 3

GD: 0

Total: 54 points

Who did you sign? I spent £9 million on Seamus Coleman :D

I lost 6-0 to Man United which is embarrassing but beat Man City 6-1 :lol:

Here's an interesting question: what if I have to play the play-downs? :P

do those points count? does the goal difference count?

Ok, I've finished - would have done better if I didn't start so badly but I didn't do too badly.

Who did you sign? I spent £9 million on Seamus Coleman :D

I lost 6-0 to Man United which is embarrassing but beat Man City 6-1 :lol:

I signed Facundo Ferreyra from Banfield. I also made a comeback against Sunderland on the last day of the season from 3 - 0 down.

I have finished my season, round up:

one transfer: Ruud Boymans (AZ)- 5.75M

League points: 34 (finished 16th, which means Play-out)

GD: -13

=21 points out of the regular competition

Play-out (which, according to sam can be counted as league games)

1st round against FC Emmen: 1-1 and 0-4 win(that gives me 4 points and raises my GD with 4 points= +8 points) I currently have 29 points

2nd round (final) against Telstar: 1-2 win and 2-0 win (this means 6 points from the games and a GD of +3 = +9 points) I now have 38 points

I lost in the first round of the Dutch cup: 0 points

This was my Excelsior season :)

I hope my 38 points will be enough to qualify, otherwise it proves I suck in the first season :( No wonder seasons for me, I guess ;)

I'm through with half the season. I've signed Maniche, and he is my rock in the midfield. Unfortunately he doesn't last for 90 minutes :P

Had the same luck as you in the cup - 0 points (quite humiliating defeat to Sparta, 1-4)

However, after a shaky start in the league, the team looks solid. I might edge your score in the end, let's see ^_^

Having briefly discussed this with Ryan and Dec today, I have decided no challenge will be set as its only round one. However, the teams you shall be managing will be the teams with the worst squads in the eight leagues. Credit to Rafa for his guide :)

It is being done like this as it will seperate the best from the worst before the real fun begins :P

Scurfignone v Sunny: Italy- Novara

RAC v ImABlueToo: Spain- Rayo Vallecano

Scott v Lewiitom: England- Norwich

Dylan v Chelsea8: Germany- Augsburg

Ashez v Anwar: Scotland- Dunfermiline

Iamfirered v samhardy: France- AC Ajacco

Rafa v Jens: Holland- Excelsior

N-Chubz v Jayzemufc: Belgium- OH Leuven

Points:

The points is different to last year, you getting yourself one point per league point and cup win. The goal difference is then added/ subtracted from your score. For example:

League: 50 points

Cup: Two wins

GD: +12

= 64 points.

Own tactics only, and oh yeah, only one transfer is allowed. Use it wisely ;)

I'm shocked at scurfignones result :O that's very impressive it's like 70points or something

I had a feeling I'd lose anywaysdry.gif Just by looking at his 'wall' is impressive.

Well can I give it another attempt?

I've noticed many of the clubs field a 4-3-3/4-4-2, so I might have the perfect solution for it.
