Between Klopp, Ancelotti and FDB apparently. I think I want Ancelotti but I'd be happy with Klopp, FDB wouldn't impress me tbh.

Liverpool and Dortmund have always struck me as similar clubs and rumour has it that klopp never wanted to manage a 'giant ' club. Instead he was looking for something similar to Dortmund as in a club close to its community where home grown players are loved more than world stars.

It would be a good relationship for me but then I thought Rogers would bring back the beautiful football that Liverpool used to play. The board may go with Ancelotti because he is far more proven and they already took a bit of a gamble with Rogers.

I think the board would go with Klopp tbh. He's shown he can battle with an underdog while Ancelotti will demand more money. Ancelotti has always had star players and big signings which I'm not sure our owners will fund.

As long as whoever comes in gets rid of the committee and all that crap we'll be better off. You can moan that Rodgers had tough times with the players he lost but he spent 300m and a lot of that was on crap and they could have been "replaced".

Balo - 16m

Marko - 20m

Lallana - 25m

Aspas - 7m (I think)

Allen - 20m

Alberto - I can't remember

Llori - 6m

Borini - 14m

Lovren - 20m

That's just naming a few but that's a lot of money and wages wasted on bang average players who weren't good enough, were overpriced or simply not needed.

Almost all that list were either not given a chance, aren't good enough or have been sold/loaned, that's shocking business.

The transfers just haven't made sense, spending 29m on an AMC and forcing him to play wide as we have Coutinho & Lallana, the squad only has one natural winger in Ibe as Marko was forced out and massively mismanaged.

We've constantly played Firmino, Can, Ibe, Marko, Clyne, Coutinho, Lallana, Ings, Gomez and various others in random positions. Regardless of if it was the committee or Rodgers the signings and implementation of them has been awful.

He should have gone in the summer, I've always liked him and I wanted him to do well but the ignorance around our defending has always drove me mad. You can not win anything conceding as we do, hopefully the next manager focuses on that area and brings a top DMC and Keeper with him.

Mourinho sacked this afternoon at 2PM bring to an end his second spell in charge at Chelsea.. rumours are he lost the support of the dressing room and the board.. Another rumour is that he also rejected his £40million payoff from Chelsea..

IMO he shouldnt have been sacked.. granted team results were not up to standards this year but the tranfer window is only a couple of weeks away.. the only way I can understand the decision that the Chelsea board have made is that they must have a replacement that is on the same level or somehow above Mourinho.. The only man I can think of is Ancelotti but would he come back to Chelsea? With Pep not out of contract until the summer and it still unclear as to where the Catalan will be heading who could Chelsea possibly have lined up?

I've also seen a lot of Arsenal fans on various social media sites claiming Mourinho is the specialist in failure but to those fans I say this:

Since Wenger last won the BPL,

Mourinho:

Won it twice

Treble with Inter

La Liga with Madrid

Came back to CFC & won it again

This is a tweet I saw not my own research regarding Mourinho vs Wenger but if I had my choice I know which one I'd rather have.. Manchester United fans as well also assumed instantly that Mourinho would be interested in the job their once LvG leaves.. whose to say he won't go somewhere completely different and ignore you feeling in his heart he would be betraying Chelsea if he was to go there?

Good the biggest twat in English football is gone, he brought trophies to the game and a new style of play and a new footballing powerhouse. However, the way he treated other managers, complained about the refs and his arrogance led to his downfall, deserved it completely. I hope he never manages United, his style is as boring as LVG and his unprofessional attitude is appalling.

Ive never had much respect for Mourinho as a man. I suspect his character is a major reason why he has never lasted at a club. Have to say though that he had a point about how too many of the Chelsea players were not putting in enough effort on the pitch. They might not like the way he said it but the players need to have a good hard look at themselves. Some of them on big wages have been distinctly average this year and they cant blame Mourinho for that.

Tbh I think it's a mistake. And a rather costly one.

Mourinho is one of the best coaches around right now. His CV speaks for itself. And in this time of turmoil. Chelsea should have stuck together.

Tbh. Hazard, Costa let him down. His defense messed up. I have to sympathise with him. Also. His contract is actually lucrative and now that it's been terminated. I think he would get a payoff of around 40 mil but as Nath said. It's rumored he refused it.

Now that Roman will be searching for a world class coach. It's understandable that the new coach will take some time to settle down. Get to know the players etc. Now with Chelsea floating just above the relegation zone do you really have the time to settle down?!

Look at the tremendous impact Remi Garde has had on Villa.....  :(

Guus Hiddink appointed as interim manager.. not even half the calibre of Mourinho as a manager..

Also the Chelsea players are so two faced its unbelievable and Mourinho has to be looking back in disgust

Leicester are going to win it aren't they……

Yep. They survived the hardest period with 2 out of 3 wins and that was meant to mess up their season. Going to be hard to see them bottling it now unless they become complacent.

I've always had a soft spot for Newcastle and I'm starting to really hope they stay up as I'm really interested to see what Rafa can do with them. Everyone knows I'm a big fan of Rafa and if he gets the right support he could really turn them around. On paper the squad is solid and the fan base is one which will love him, tbh how dissimilar is this from the LFC he took over?

Well that's that. What an absolute disastrous wreck of a club we have turned into.

It's official now too. Wondering how long it'll take you guys to jump back up. Don't see that happening anytime soon tbh.

Two cracking games to start the season :D

Just me who has to watch all the sky games on mute? Terrible commentary

Watch a few MLS games - terrible meaningless stats thrown at us, first goal within 3min, first goal with left foot after 60min but before 63min, first game under X degrees, first X color ball, first ever derby game that exceeds 95min LOL f#@kkkkkk it's sh¥ttttt - and you'll learn to appreciate English commentary ;)
