Triple Threat Assists

I spotted this challenge a while back and really fancied trying it.

Its something a little different from other challenges so thanks @danovic78. So l, without further ado, let me introduce to you my club and players.

The Club

For this challenge I want a great club with a team who can put many goals past the opposition. I picked the best team.....

The mighty toon! I have been looking for an excuse to use them.

The Players

Fullback

This man will not be a stranger to wonderkid hunters.

Midfielder

A youngster currently signed with Schalke 04

Striker

A young Dortmund forward and perhaps a stranger to most of you.

So there we have it. My team, my players. Bring on the assists!

The career begins in earnest now. Lets see how the toon do.

Back down to 12 this year but that is plenty.

Serra pushes Reece for the top assist spot in year 3 with 26.

Thanks man. I picked Serra for his defensive capabilities and it seems to work wonders. I did cock up his training in season 1 and 2 though as i had attacking set on medium and had not realised.

Real tough challenge this, but you're ticking along well. I have something similar planned so I know how tricky it is to consistently get assists from players. Still looking for a final tweak to go ahead with it.

Season 3 was pretty good. Hopefully season 4 would be when we really kick on.

Being unable to put the ball in the back of the net sees brighton knock us out in round 4

An eventful final but we win in the end.

We win the title in style with over 100 points

We get revenge on bayern by winning the champions league final over them despite going down to 10 men.

A very poor  season for Sessengon assists wise with only 6. What happened?

Midfielder

Reece improves again this year with 33 assists and even 32 goals on top of that. At this rate I might include a 50/50 challenge with him 500 goals 500 assists.

Forward

Serra was injured for a good portion of the year. If not he may have gotten over 20 assists again

Nothing stunning just stronger in the right areas.

Going fantastically well! Had a lot of assists in the past with Sessegnon and Reese is going amazing. Nice choice of club too!

I hope he picks up to be honest as i am not getting enough assists from my wingback for my liking. Reece is crushing it though.

Season 4 was pretty good. Hopefully season 4 would be when we really kick on.

A close run thing but we take the league title once more.

We dominate the game but it still goes to extra time before we win.

Sessegnon picks himself back up with 15 assists this year.

Another 33 assists for Reece, less goals, but thats not the aim here.

Serra's turn for a poor haul as he only gets 8 assists.

Sessegnon has another poor year but he has already surpassed Baines, so no worries here.

Reece outdoes himself with 43 assists. What a star!

Serra ups his game again to get 20 assists. He also hammered home 39 goals a season uninjured finally reared its head and Serra took full advantage.

I know. 1 whole season, then he needs to get fit. Even then he may not be the same guy. Could take 3 seasons from now to get rooneys record.

Basically a write off I am not doing a full report on season 7 but here is a small update.

Pretty damn successful.

Season 8

Transfers in

Augustin is brought in for the right IF role Kehrer is brought in as a rotation CB/anchor man. The others are backups other than the brilliant bosman signing of Adjapong.

So sessegnon picked up another 26  assists over the last 2 years

Reece just smashed it the past 2 years with 64 goals and 80 assists. Brilliant.

He is baaaaack and the record is broken. Serra hits 40 goals and 17 assists.

The records are broken and here are the men who did it.

Sessegnon

Sessegnon has became a brilliant winger/wingback with some decent greens in the right places.

Reese

While Reece is not the total package he still managed to absolutely smash it in this challenge.

Serra

Serra never truly developed into anything resembling a top striker but his defensive stats and passing served him well in throwing the assists out to his team mates.
