Madrid and Chelsea for me, multiple times, I gave him a new juicy contract and it helped somewhat.

Dude! 😂 😂 😂 That's what I love about these H2H challenges, they get us trying entirely new formations and strategies we would otherwise have never come up with. Brilliant. 

What I love about vd Beek is his all-roundedness. Good scorer and assister, see how relatively close those numbers are in our careers.

Excellent effort and interesting looking tactics! Too bad Bati's assistant is too good for us too handle..

About what Bati said regarding tactics; in the end I was playing a little bit with players roles and even played some games with AP's in AML, AMR and the three MC's.. still pretty solid defensively!

Bati Vs Kun Aguero

Beijing Guoan - (China)

 

The trend we're seeing in China these recent years is that most top division teams have a squad largely consisting of Chinese nationals with the best players coming from outside the country, playing mostly in the attacking line. This due to the limit on foreigners these teams are allowed to have in their squads. Unsurprisingly, the top leading goal scorers in the CSL are by far foreigners with the Israeli Zahavi leading the dance in 2019. You're going to put a stop to this trend. Beijing Guoan have an outstanding assist man in Renato Augusto and very promising Chinese front men: Dabao, Yuning, Ziming and Wen. Buy or select your finest two from the squad for this mini Double Trouble in China. 

Your job: Form a DT of Chinese origin. The duo to score most goals wins. If tied most assists wins. 

 

Chinese Player 1

TM-like skills always get my preference. And towards the end of the season his Shooting and Movement got the needed bumps. 

Chinese Player 2

Yuning is really decent. At the end he's got good greens and overall set of skills to show for. Very consistent player this one. 

Transfers Out

Bakambu & Co not needed for this challenge. Give me the money instead. 

Transfers In

With the sales + existing funds we used nearly every drop of coins to strengthen all lines except the front. New GK, 3 new Defs and a few good midfield men to assist the Chinese Duo. 

Formation: 3-5-2

This formation did very well in Portugal and now with minor tweaks in China too. I might post the tactics in full for anyone to fiddle with. Just to see if it works across the leagues, as well as to keep my tradition going of posting at least one tactic per FMM series.

Dong ends his run with 36 gls. As a TM he provided a few extra assists.

Zhang ends his on 43. Did decent as a Poacher and could've reached higher if it wasn't for minor injuries. 

I think I did well, but it's an easy league to score in and Kun Aguero's got the experience playing in China. So I think he did well too. Not feeling too confident about this one tbh. Let's hope I'm wrong and I go 3-1 up.

The Chinese Duo

#1 - Zhang Yuning

The same player used by Batigoal, Zhang Yuning's already in the team, and play as my Target Man. Here's how he looks like at the end of the challenge, some decent stats, I'm focusing training in his Aerial hoping he get some extra goals from corners, but only managed to rise from 13 to 14.

#2 - Wu Lei

Player 2 is Wu Lei from Espanyol, the best Chinese player currently, with the perfect attributes for a Poacher. Got him for 19m, was surprised that he actually agree to move from La Liga to CSL though.

Transfers

2 big money departures including Bakambu and Renato Augusto. Newcastle came with a 30m bid for Renato Augusto, which I can't reject.

Lots of incoming players, with the biggest being the main man Wu Lei. Lanzini came in from West Ham to replace Renato Augusto, 2 new wing-backs from Torino, 1 RW, 1 DMC, 2 Center Backs and several loans as backup.

Tactics

I'm using a modified tactic from the one used in my Turkish Triple Threat, leaving only 2 strikers upfront. A very offensive tactic with the "Overload" mentality, and only 1 CB.

League

An easy league win, scoring 120 goals while conceding 38.

2 big Final win to complete the treble.

The Chinese duo occupied first 2 places in Scoring chart, scoring a combined 64 goals.

Zhang Yuning's Goals

34 goals and some extra assists from the Target Man.

Wu Lei's Goals

An incredible performance from Wu Lei, 75 goals + 19 assists from him. 

A combined of 109 from the Chinese duo, which wins Vibe United a point to bring it back to all evens again.

However it seems like @BatiGoal didn't play the CWC matches, so it's more fair if I took away the goals scored from the 3 games in CWC.

Team Goals & Assists

Manuel Lanzini scored a lot from AMC position.

Luciano Narsingh got the most assists playing as a RW.

An average of 3.59 GpG while conceding a lot as well.
