Career Geordiekrispy's Chelsea Wonderkid Challenge (completed)

After smashing though some of the in game challenges to get my head around the new features, I decided to start this year with a simple 1 season challenge.

Credit to @Scratch for the Chelsea Wonderkid Graduate Challenge this year:

For my wonderkid graduates I picked:

Tammy Abraham

Timo Werner

Mason Mount

Kai Havertz

 

I initially couldn't decide between Mount and Pulisic, but after a few games I knew who my favourite was.

It seemed to start fairly well but I couldn't get Havertz scoring or assisting very much, he just seemed to sit in that pocket behind the strikers and do... not much really...

But after a month long injury to Abraham in Feb, I had to re-jig my formation and realised I'd been an idiot and had been playing Mount in Midfield for most of the season and shifted him out wide left as an IF and he started scoring as well as getting the assists from the corners

And with just 1 striker in front of him Havertz started scoring too! Happy days!

 

So after what I think could be considered a "successful" season, only getting knocked out of the Champions League Semi by Man City on aggregate, here's my requisite screenshots:

Thanks, I think it'd have been higher if I'd been playing Mount on the wing all season rather than Pulisic.

LoL, he was one of the top two when I posted that. He's slipped down a bit since, but we've now got 4 of the top 5 - it's only @Rob who's slipped in there...

I have no idea how I'm still top of the leaderboard, I honestly thought I'd be pushed out of the top 10 by now.

 

I'm not complaining, I'm half tempted to try and better my score, I already have an idea how o could do that.

 

Just need to figure out how I can get the Havertz scoring/assisting more.
