In the League, there are just FOUR points between the 9 Vibe teams. That’s incredible. Sure two teams have a game in hand, but that’ll only extend it to a FIVE point spread. So close.

Statements from DanEnglish FC:

• Lukaku - finally scoring!
• Aguero - on fire 🔥 but out with a light green injury, so instead ...
• Other ST - ... we’re playing Muller as a 2nd ST instead of Ronaldo - so I “traded” Muller away. Urgh.
• Good - new signings Wijnaldum, Koulibaly + Trippier are playing well. 
• Bad - unsung hero Henderson is injured (with a red icon) - he bosses our midfield so that’s a loss.
• Red - both Herrera AND Koulibaly got RED cards vs @geordiekrispy’s Blue Star (but we still beat them 3-2 🤣)

Other Players:

• Zaha - after doing decently for @Kun Aguero, am delighted he’s going on loan to @YungGaffer / Yung Kings, as their formation should suit him much better than my 532z
• Busquets - delighted to see @geordiekrispy / Blue Star’s signing play so well for them. 4 goals, 1 assist, a 7.66 rating in 12 games. Classy.

The biggest cash trade so far!

DanEnglish FC buys star striker Salah from @Victor77 / Vice City - in exchange for Aguero and $100m! To happen at the end of the season, when Salah turns 30.

Note - am not 100% sure what Medical clause @Victor77 wants - so he can add that i here when he confirms (anything above a 3 month injury and we get the choice to cancel or proceed?)

DAMWON have confirmed the departure of winger David Neres to Out On Bale. The transfer has been negotiated with and is set to go through during the winter transfer window in January. DAMWON would like to thank Neres for his time with the club and wish him goodluck at his new club.

 

As compensation DAMWON are set to receive $20M in transfer fee + the service of midfield playmaker Pedri from Out On Bale

EXCLUSIVE:   
Transfers at DanEnglish FC

The Good:   
We’ve brought in world-class players between the 1st and 2nd seasons.

• DC - Van Dijk + Koulibaly strengthen one of the league’s best defences.
• MC - Pogba will be a fantastic addition when he joins in end-Dec.
• ST - Lukaku is already scoring goals + Salah joins at the end of the season.
• Squad - plus we’ve got multiple new good squad players like Wijnaldum, Trippier, plus Greenwood + Bellingham on loan.

The Bad:   
Unfortunately our main enemy is not the Vibe teams. Our main enemy is time.

• Squad - most of our defenders, wing backs and midfielders will be aged 32-33 at the end of the 2nd season - entering their declining years.
• Strikers - our strike force was drafted a little older: Ronaldo at 35, Messi at 33, Aguero at 32. By the end of the 2nd season, we’ll probably have lost all 3 of them. While they are amazing players, they won’t get any better.
• It’s a race against time - to keep the squad competitive for more than the next 1-2 seasons.

The Policy:   
Therefore the club continue to ease / loosen their “only +30” player age policy.

• “Frees” + Loans - already an exception (e.g. Lukaku)
• Trades without cash - became an exception this season (e.g. Zaha)
• +27 only - now loosen the policy to allow trades of players 27+ years old (e.g. Pogba)

It was simply unsustainable to continue having only +30’s, as when too many decline / retire in the same year - it’s too expensive to replace them all. Key Point - older players are critical as part of a balanced squad - but not a whole squad only of older players 

The Future:   
With no cash left, the club would consider offers for:

• (Reluctantly) Open to Offers = Alba (D/AM L), Henderson (DM/MC), Zaha (M/AM/F RLC?) - at the end of the season.
• Transfer List = Alderweireld (DRC), Aubameyang (AMR/L, ST), Bale (AMR/L, ST) - anytime.

Only the 2 losses in the first 20 games, shame we couldn’t beat West Ham, but I’m happy with where we are at this point, with a fully fit squad and a morale boost again 😝

Aubameyang's loan deal ends and he goes back to his parent club @DanEnglishFC. We'd like to thank Peirre-Emmerick for his 6 months at the club and wish him all the best in finding a permanent deal somewhere he can get some more games time.

The deal is reportedly for $15m up front with $10m to follow at the end of the season. The deal will go through as soon as possible (or as soon as @Titjes see's this post and edits the teams).

Am looking forward to seeing how Pogba performs in my team (and Muller out) in the January update 😄 

We now have Pogba, Smalling, Herrera, Zaha, Lukaku, Ronaldo, plus Greenwood on loan - and did have Di Maria for a while. I literally am trying to assemble a Manchester United B team <face palm>
