It was pointed out to Town AFC Director of Football Michael Hefele that Aarons has already transferred this window... he just leaned back in his chair, put his hands behind his head and said "of course this is meant as a loan with an agreement to complete a permanent signing in the January window"

We didn’t really want to sell Max Aarons. He was loaned + bought in as our 5th full back (can play on both flanks), but Town AFC met our asking price.

Unfortunately this strengthens the last years 2nd placed team + Town AFC must be title favourites for season 3 (after hiring Klopp + their steal of Haaland), while further weakening DanEnglish FC.

Our only response is that it seemed overly “mean” to not allow @StuartM’s side to have a 4th full back as they seek to compete in Europe as well. The good news is that we asked them to pay accordingly 🙂

This has come as a surprise even as the chairman and head of board of Kaizoku Manjikai has some opinions on him:

Broodje are proud to announce a double signing of Gabriel Barbosa and Denis Zakaria.

Zakaria will join The Sandwiches permanently for $30M while Barbosa will join as half season loan. There is also mandatory buyout clause of $30M for Barbosa which Broodje have to pay in January so that he joins them permanently in the winter transfer window.

Season Review + Preview

Last Season:
League + FA Cup Winners! Certainly we were helped by some massive luck. 

(i) Haaland’s ~30 goals, (ii) our heal bonus + (iii) other teams injury crises = a golden combination which is unlikely to happen again. 
 

The Manger:
Mancini eh? I was expecting to replace him in season 1 - but you can’t fire a manager whose just won the donestic double. Can you?! 
 

The Transfers: 
Lots of movement yet again with another +$100m of summer player sales, but the big new guy is this one...

• ST - lost Haaland  🔻 but we already brought in his replacement En-Nesyri six months before 👍  => WORSE.
   
• IFs - lost Tadic, Barbosa + ESR 🔻 but have brought in Salah and Asensio 👍 => SIMILAR
   
• Others - sold Zakaria + Aarons  🔻 => WORSE 

 
The Squad:
This squad is good, but without Haaland it’s now slightly worse than last season. Great depth 👍 

This Season:
The expectation is Top 4 - with a +2.0 points per game average (so finishing with 76-80 points?). 

 🔻 We are slightly worse than last year, our rivals have strengthened (am looking at you @StuartM) + it’s incredibly unlikely that we’ll be as lucky yet again. Top 4 is fine thanks.

KFC Wimbledon are pleased to announced the signing of Lucas Paqueta in a straight swap deal with @LordArezo with Yvess Bissouma going the other way. 
 

The club are said to be delighted in signing the creative Brazilian to hopefully provide much needed cover and potentially a first team spot in the attacking third. 
 

Rumours are however coming out of the club that Di Maria is unhappy with the signing and may be considering his options, however we are unsure if it is to be a loan or permanent deal. It is unknown if any interested parties have expressed an interest with the club, or if the club just putting the feelers out.
 

@LordArezo has asked me to share this picture of his confirmation due to not being able to confirm the signing on the thread before the deadline closes;

The mind games have already started with English and Mancini trying to deflect attention from their two time champion squad to pressure up and comers Town AFC.

Klopp declared that he thinks he is a player short of a serious league challenge but is hopeful of cup success to keep building the squad and retain/add the quality needed to make the next step.

He went on to say that Dan English FC have a chance of making Vibe history by winning the league three times in a row and joining the likes of Huddersfield Town as legends of the game 😜

Most Difficult Start 
Surely this ‘award’ (?) goes to @vizardjr - who plays FOUR Vibe teams in his first 5 league games, plus Leicester who are one of the ‘best of the rest’. Ouch.

 
 

Community Shield
If @StuartM can win this, then it’ll be (Huddersfield) Town’s first community shield win for +100 years!  Last season, these two teams gave two score draws in the league, plus a narrow 2:1 win to DanEnglish FC in the FA Cup final. 

BUT  will ‘stolen striker’ Haaland win it for Town AFC against his old club? 😞
