Seasons 11 and 12

At the end of season 10 I was looking at my spreadsheet when i suddenly realised that Foxy Jr has a good chance of completing the 200 international goals challenge as well as the 1kc bit on top of that I think he has a chance of getting 1k club goals as well.

The maths looks like this.

ITN Goals: He requires 71 more goals for England to get to 200 which works out as 12 per season for the final 6 seasons. Very achievable if you look at the totals he has been getting.

1k Club Goals: He still needs 455 goals for Man City to hit this target. That works out as 76 goals per season needed. This will be a lot tighter I think.

Season 11

With these new goals set let’s see how we did.

We have had a terrible run in the FA Cup over the last 4 seasons with Chelsea constantly knocking us out despite the fact we beat them in other competitions. This year we regained the famous old trophy but we couldn’t do a clean sweep as Man Utd did us in the League Cup final. We did get revenge on them in the Champions League final though.

We broke both targets with Foxy Jr as he hit 83 goals for Man City and then 27 for England. This gave him 110 goals for the season towards his 1kc.

Connor Adams is more of a forgotten man now in this save but he is still well in the hunt for his own 1k although I think 200 ITN or a club 1k will be a bit too far for him as Foxy Jr is very much my main focus.

He banged in 46 goals for Man City which is great as most camera as a super sub and then for England he hit an impressive 12 goals. This gave him a total of 57 for the season.

Season 12

After winning the FA Cup last year our jinx in that competition came back as Spurs knocked us out in the semi finals. Other than that it was business as usual.

It was the European Championships this summer which means lots of games and another trophy.

Despite the Euros Foxy Jr didn’t hit the heights with England this year although 13 goals was still a decent return. He did hit the heights with Man City though as he knocked in 92 goals to make a massive dent in the club 1kc.

He now needs.

1kc: 111 goals

Club 1kc: 280 goals

200 ITN: 31 goals

If he has a good season next year he could complete the overall 1kc but I expect he will just fall short based on the last couple of seasons.

Connor Adams had another good year as supersub and luckily he still seems happy with his playing time which is pretty much the final 20-15 minutes of games and a few starts.

He actually scored a few more than last year as he hit 48 for club and 12 for country giving him 60 for the season.

He now needs 84 goals to complete the 1kc.

Hopefully a bit less than 2 seasons but I have 4 seasons until I retire so I am sticking it out for the full 30 seasons as that’s an achievement in itself.

Season 13 and 14

These were the seasons I was hoping to get both Foxy Jr and Adams 1kc competed and Foxy Jr 200th international goal as well.

A look at the state of play shows that Foxy Jr needs 111 goals which isn’t impossible for him to get in season 13 and Adams needs 84 which looks like a two season job to me with the bit part he plays in the team. The 31 England goals that Foxy Jr needs will probably take the two seasons as well.

Season 13

It was going to take a career best season from Foxy Jr to complete the 1k this season as he had never scored more than 110 goals before. He is 30 now and it feels like he is slowing down a little and certainly can’t play as long as he could a few seasons ago.

Either way 73 club goals and 24 England goals put a good dent into the total and he goes into season 14 needing just 14 goals to complete his 1k which should take him around 10 games I should think.

Adams also made a good dent into his 1k as well despite a drop in his goal total this season. He hit 39 for club and 12 for country leaving him 33 away from his own 1k. He should get those goals relatively easily in season 14.

Foxy Jr started season 14 on a mission as he scored 4 goals for England in the Confederations Cup to leave him needing 10 goals for the 1k. He then smashed in 9 goals in his first 4 Man City games of the season meaning that he needed 1 goal in the 5th game of the season against Everton to hit the 1000 goal mark.

He hit a brace.

This meant he had 197 international goals and 804 club goals for first Barca and then Manchester City.

This left him needing 3 goals for England to complete the 200 international goals challenge. He hit 2 in the two September internationals meaning it went to October’s games. 

A 77th minute goal to make the game safe against Romania got the job done.

This left Connor Adams to get his 1k this season as well. I couldn’t turn all my attention on to him as I want Foxy Jr to get 1k club goals so he stayed as my number 1 but Adams went to number 1 for England.

His 1000th career goal under my management came in a 5-0 demolition of Derby in the Premier League on a snowy day in January.

By the end of the season both lads had added to there totals well and Foxy Jr stood on 1078 career goals and Adams on 1021. Foxy Jr scored 81 club goals ta is to be a bit more rested in England matches meaning he now needs 126 more goals for Manchester City to get a club 1k. This works out as 63 club goals each of the final 2 seasons.

One notable match this season came in the League Cup final as I took on my beloved Oxford United who are still in League One.

 There is 2 seasons left in this save now before I hit the 30 seasons limit and although I have completed the DT, two 1kc and the 200 ITN challenges I am going to play them both. I want Foxy Jr to get those 1000 club goals and then it’s simply a case of adding to both lads final goal totals.

I’ve put in loads of hours on this years game but never went the 30 seasons as I’ve never done good enough in my careers to leave enough time to complete anything else. Well done.

The thought of letting the Mighty Yellows win never crossed my mind for a second tbh and I’m not sure I could have put a team out bad enough that they would have anyway.

Season 15 & 16

Tyler Foxy and Connor Adams both achieved the 1k in the last update and Foxy Jr had completed the International 200 goal challenge as well. This means that the final two seasons were all about simply adding to there totals and bringing my career to an end with retirement at the end of season 30.

I did have one final aim and that was to get at least Foxy Jr if not both players to 1000 club goals.

Connor Adams never achieved the club 1k under my management but that was a long shot with more emphasis on Foxy Jr and he missed out on 200 international goals as well but he still had a fine career.

Early on in my time at Man City I brought through a youth player called Jordan Wilton who turned out to be a decent assister despite the fact I never looked to push him towards the challenge. He hasn’t set any records but 300+ assists from any player is decent so I will be putting him forward for the leaderboard.

This has been a two part career over two threads and a number of challenges but I will sum up my achievements here.

This was my Mitro 1kc save which made up the first 14 seasons of this save.

• Aleksandar Mitrovic 1kc- Barcelona: 1029 goals in 779 games
• 100 Club entry: Mitrovic 104 goals in 58 games for Barcelona - 1.76 GpG
• Assists Challenge: Javairo Dilrosun - 358 assists for Barcelona
• Foxy Jr and Connor Adams Double Trouble: 1200 goals for Barcelona,  Manchester City and England.
• Son 1kc: Tyler Fox -1245 goals in 1113 games for Barcelona, Manchester City and England.
• International 200 goals challenge: Tyler Fox - 231 goals in 193 games for England. 
• 1kc: Connor Adams - 1136 goals in 1134 games for Barcelona, Manchester City and England.
• Assists Challenge: Jordan Wilton 332 assists for Manchester City.
• 30 year career completed.

I think that sums everything up and I want to thank everyone who has commented on this or just been following along as it’s been huge fun to play and post.
