Sorry to disappoint you mates I don't know how it happened. Very frustrated with all these lacks of goals lack of results...

And by the way Kean missed about 10-11 penalties in total this season out of like 15-16 

CL same thing again

These groups I get... whooooh...

at least I did put up a fight with MU each game I was down by 3 and almost made a comeback. 

Home league and cup still pretty easy

Now lets take a look at our "hero"

and he got two top year awards for Holland again

but he barely did anything 

and right now you all probably think:"what are you doing here, trying to get 1KC done. You ain't going get there"...

Well... that is exactly what I'm thinking right now I don't see how I'm going to get there scoring 31 a year. 

My team didn't do that good either

but yes CR7 is CR7 even when he is 35

Alright, whatever, I'll make it. I'm shooting for 50 goals this year and then we will see what to do.

Keep going keep trying to get the best out of him. That's the only way we learn and get better at this game. We can read all we want but we gotta be in the thick of things to get to the next level so my advice is keep pushing yourself.

Two things, he's really young and that brings inconsistency which I know can be terribly frustrating but in fact is realistic enough. Another is re penalties, I've had my younger players miss more than half as well but it improves as they mature.

True what you say about next level. It just kills me after I used to score 150+ a season with my other saves with multiple players though...

Actually, I think you're doing alright. Players are generally less consistent when they are younger. I started with 30 goals a season with a 19 year old, etc, didn't hit the 50s until about 21 or 22, then it got higher as he got older. Younger players often miss penalties, but that comes good as they get older. So keep doing what you're doing and try to make sure he's getting a lot of chances in each game, and you'll be fine.

160 down and he's only 20, that's one head start mate so keep the faith! Sure you need a little more from him but it's not lost yet! 

He could easily last 15 more seasons and should only improve!

1000-160/15= 56 goals a year. More than possible if you can get him firing a little more

Just caught up dude, and all I can say is keep the faith, sure he's hitting the low numbers now, but as he improves and you improve the squad those numbers will jump, and even if you fail to reach the 1K, its about the journey, I had two unsuccessful 1K attempts before coming good so keep going

For a guy of his age,Kean is doing quite decently just needs to improve a bit...But you already have amassed 160 goals which is quite respectable.I am sure you can hit the 60 goal mark consistently during his prime.

I saw from your earlier post that you're usually always Liverpool and you don't do individual player challenges so it's great to see that you're pushing yourself. The 1k challenge is a really tough one - I've not managed it and I haven't seen that many that have.

Anyway, Kean's stats look brilliant, and you've made a decent dent in the total already. Keep it up!

Mate there is one advice be like wenger & have faith in you player ... goals will come definitely.

What you have achieved with this young lad is great ... and as he ages he'll be more consistent.

Thank you all guy!! Wont lie last two seasons I considered quitting this 1KC. It is like I was saying before I NEED results NOW which I always had with other saves. It took me a loot of courage to (show must) go on 

and let me present you my next season...

SEASON 5

I did say I'll be shooting for 50 goals this season and I wasn't off by much

And his stats are improved

Now looking at this guy even after couple very bad seasons I do believe in him like I did after my first season. 

This year I went from 3 to 5 forwards including CR7. You'd probably think why do I mention him... well, unlike most people would think he didn't score much, but he provided lots of goals

Here are team stats (the better half)

Just like Kean CR7 ended up with 24 passes at the age of 35!!! But unlike CR7 Keans passes are mostly rebounds after his shots picked up by some one else.

No surprises in home league and cup. First came the Super Cup

and next year's Cup

and we didn't forget to win the league

Just look at amount of goals!! We ended up with 167 goals in all competitions!! And this year was more of my way, I had 3 guys scoring over 20 and 4 with 10 and more goals.

Very few losses and draws. But before January in first half of this season I had only 2 losses with 0 draws. 

Like I said there were no surprises in Dutch competitions, but there was one in CL. 

Blazed through Group stage with only one unlucky game

and then had lots of fun in First Knock Out round

4-1 away and 6-4 home...

Little bit harder was in Quaters... 0-0 home

I was leading the game 3-2 when they decided to score equalizer on 90+3.

On one side of a coin I took first place in group stage having Barcelona there, on the other side IT IS BARCELONA

Yeah ended up being pretty easy just like the Final against Chelsea 

I say it was easy. But as you can see I was down one by 30' equalizing on 38'. Very tight game until Kean scored. Petagna's goal in the end was just a counter attact while Chelsea was all in trying to score. 

Transfers

Playing weak league like Eredivisle will benefit me in reaching the ultimate goal of this challenge but it hurts me a lot as well. I'm used to making hundreds of millions by buying cheap and selling for double, triple or more. 

In my team at this moment even the best players are barely £20-25 millions. I'm not even talking about subs or closest reserves which I could of flipped for profit. So that being said the only transfer money I get from board. 

BTW I'm so impressed with CR7 ability to provide, I'm thinking of getting 33 yo Messi and trying him out as well

Great season. Now that the "team-building seasons" are over you can place all your focus on applying minor improvements on players and tactics. All those bits add up massively come May.

Setting up the team to your liking the first 3/4 season is the hardest part. A 16 yo who plays like that is amazing.

I'm surprised he performs like that, I never get Kean to perform that well. I believe he's got quite the price tag on him by now?

Their roles can play a big part DF or DLF tend to pass more than score AF is tricky as they are both scorer and provider, but it's about tinkering and figuring out what's best

Great going mate as Batigoal said it's time to really pick up the pace.You have a really strong squad and if you find the right tactical combinations you'll be on the right track in no time.

Great season - and he's only going to get better! He will go from 47 to 60 to 70 to 80 or even higher before this is through.

Tweaking the formation to get people to provide assists not score themselves is important. I found turning the extended highlights on for a few games helped me track down some things I needed to change (like the central AM running around holding hands with my striker and pinching some of his goals). 

As far as budget goes, it's all up from here. I didn't have much money with Celtic, but once I won the Champions League a few times, I seemed to get a bigger budget and could attract better players (and do things like sign top free agents and sell them right away for £40M). Also as you win the CL more, the club's reputation improves which seems to affect player prices. I remember at once point my top players went from being worth £30M to £80M, presumably because the club's reputation had increased. That helps you sell players for a lot more, although it does take a long time to get there and for me I had more money than I could spend by that stage!

Anyway, keep going, it's all going to get better and better from here. ?

And to be completely honest I don't even know who to buy. I have badass def Riedewald, Can, Kessie and DeLight. Meds are Ziyech, couple regens, Maia, Alexander-arnold from Liverpool. Attackers are En Nesery, CR7, Messi, Petegna, Kean, Mbappe. Plus bunch players like Dolberg, Pulisic, couple from youth and many more which could go first team at any time. 

I was thinking of getting Laporte but now I'm not sure he is good enough for me

Hehe, I ended up like that in a couple of my long careers. I always end up with a bunch of money I can't spend! But, you know, that's not a bad problem to have! ?

You are doing good for his age, I'd definately say you're on schedule. 47 is a great total anyway, and as that squad gets better and you achieve more European success, as @scratch99 said it'll get better!

                       SEASON 6

I don't even know where to start because in my opinion that was a hell of a season.

Lets start with goals

Did you count it yet? Probably no, just FYI we scored outrageous 198 goals this season.

Kean really impressed me with his progress and some crazy 30-35 meters goals he scored out of no where. Well here it is

65 goals with only 18 assists and most of assists were before I've changed tactic to the one which brings Kean lots of chances.   

And we only let opponents score 60 times. Yes I say only cause ratio is over 3:1. 

COMPETITIONS

First two games were Super Cups

No surpirises plus a hat-trick. 

Yeah statistic shows you it was fairly tight game... nah I got lucky they didn't hammer us. 

No biggy, move on. 

100ish goals made it easy in League. 

And again victorious in Dutch Cup. Even without first team attacking trio, had to let them rest before a very hard game against A.Madrid

Since I start talking about A. Madrid... There was another very hard campaign in CL

It sure started of easy this year in group stage. But knock outs were very very hard, all but one against Sevilla

1-1 away and home vs MU. Won in penalty lottery 

no comments... eeeeasy  

This is the one I was talking earlier. 0-1 loss on Spanish turf. And they were all in to get that "winning" away goal in my home game. Held them back with counter attacks. And finished them up 20 minutes before penalty shoot outs.

Another semi-final was R. Madrid vs Roma. I wanted so bad to get my revenge for losing ESCup  and I got it

But not anywhere as easy as I expected. Roma is very attacking team, so I've decided to go def and counter attack from kick-off.

I don't know what is up with CR7 in this game but he is crazy. Through out the season I got few notices that he refuses to age

despite his age he is #3 with 13 goals and #4 with 14 assists. Btw Messi couldn't be as good as CR7 just because he wasn't meant for this tactic. 

 

So with 272  goals in 6 seasons it does look more like it. We are going to make it to magic 1000 goals...

Great going mate,you finally managed to break the 60 goals mark,if you can do that regularly,this challenge would be a breeze,Does CR7 hinder Kean?His teamwork is quite low so I can see him stealing some goals from Kean.But I am sure you will beat this.

It is low but at the same time he was best assister last year. I didn't notice him stealing much. And I need to find a replacement. Its a shame to have 37 yo dude in starting 11 lol

Such a big and significant season this one. You believed in him and he repaid you with lots of goals. He gave you hope that there is indeed a chance of successful completion of this challenge.

More importantly, had you not continued Moise Kean would've been FMM scarred for life. I've had players before that I've ignored because unsuccessful spells or massive underachievement during challenges. Maybe some of them are decent but I very rarely want to use these sort of players again. Kean could've been on your 'black list' but instead you put him on the path to greatness.
