Season 12

So Freddy is nearly planning his big party for his landmark 40th but first he has a few seasons finish in style! 

Transfers In
No much coming in but Barco on a free was a handy signing indeed, he is still only 29!

Transfers Out
A few moaning first teamers shipped out.

Dutch Super Cup
Another tight season opener but we prevail in a five goal thriller again Utrecht.

Champions League
City put pay to our chances in the First Round Knockout.

Dutch Cup
A poor defence of our cup as we crash in Groningen in the second round. Those shots! :o(

Eredivisie
Just one defeat as we retain our title by 30 points!

Team Stats
So our French replacement for Martinez proved an inspired buy with 59 goals in his first season.
Gomes and Adu making up the front three. Barco had a decent first season too.

Awards
Four years in a row now for Ze Gomes as the Portuguese Player of the Year Award.

Batbinsika was the obvious choice after a great first season for the Golden Boot this season.

Batbinsika's form sees him included in the World Best XI.

Freddy Adu

Adu bounced back well from last seasons' injury hit campaign. Even being a year short of being 40 he managed to hit 15 goals and 15 assists. Wonderful! 

NO!! Its finally happened...Just one more season of Adu magic!

Amazing! Best season in the last 5. It's turtle speed growth at this point but he just keeps going. Looks like the 300+ that was once deemed impossible is now very much on the table. Sad to see this end so make the most of his last showdown

I know, seemed like a long way away when I started to even reach 300 total but he has does it!

Sadly, it was defiantly his last as I have finished it now but be prepared for him to finish with a flourish!

This is stupidly impressive considering everything! Looks like he'll leave the game being the legend SI originally thought he could be!

Season 13 - Adieu to Adu

This is it, the final fling for 40 year old Freddy.....

Transfers In
Big money on a centre back as my guys were 34/35 each!
Donnarumma was surprisingly available on a free so I snapped him up.

Transfers Out
Just the squad players shipped out and the youngsters.

Dutch Super Cup
Comfortable win over PSV in the season opener with Adu on the scoresheet.

Dutch Cup
Dominating cup final a we blast plast NAC.

Eredivisie
Another stroll in the league, with over 100+ goal difference.

Team Stats
Batubinsika was even better this season with 72 goals in total. Vlasic and Ze Gomes backing up well with Freddy still doing the buisness. Barco was tremendous too.

Awards
5 of the best for Ze Gomes as he picks up the Portuguese Best National Player award.

Manager Stats
Nice clean sweep of titles to finish off with.
Not a bad set of stats, 12 titles in 13 year over three different countries and over £1b in sales too.

40 years old and still the best USA Player of the Year!

Champions League
In his very last appearance he picks up a Champions League winning medal as we crush Bayern in the final. What a way to go out!

In his final season, Freddy was still producing the goods with 15 goals and 10 assists from his limited appearances.

Not a bad haul considering he has won nothing when I picked him up at 28!

Thanks, I think the choice of leagues worked for me well as if he had played in England/Italy I am not sure he would have had the same effect.
