Just had a thought - obviously I’m currently just training players in the roles that suit the team but if anyone wants to change their trained role (for example: maybe @hhooo/Lahm-Peters fancies to train as a IWB, as opposed to a FB so he can get his first team goal) to suit them personally, I am more than happy yo do that for you. So I'd change your trained attributes and also the role in-game. I would adjust the tactic accordingly but any input from all you guys is always welcome.

you can train my player attribute or position the way you like it best, when Lord Erik Lamela the Spurs legend is the coach I would follow him like a blind dog 😂😂

If you were going to sign players - how about older squad players who can act as mentors (strict professionals etc) ... +30 years old, no more than X/wk wages, either only free transfers or transfer values below X ... 

... this gives them an extra purpose (mentoring), can’t be key to the side long-term (due to their age) + gives you the reinforcements you’d like .

I like the idea of getting some veterans on free transfers - I think that’ll be most plausible and still maintains the OG players as the focal point of the team, and as you said, the older players can become mentors for the younger guys.

SEASON 2 REVIEW

My apologies about the long wait. Here’s a quick look (for you anyway - these write-ups take ages😂) at how we got on in our 2nd ever season as a professional club. It’s actually really fun to play the game with made up players and I’ll probably run with this until we win the Champions League so there’s a few more seasons to come😄.

• Team Performance/Competitions

Vanarama National

We’ve done it again and in what fashion! Completely dominated the league in the 2nd half of the season. If you cast your minds back to the mid-season review, the gap to the teams below us wasn’t huge but we really found our rhythm afterwards! 153 goals scored, giving us an average of 3.32gpg, across the board in a season that will be hard to beat. We’re officially a Football League side!

FA Cup

@leedsunited87/Tank was chomping at the bit when he saw us get drawn against his favourite team, apart from Vibe FC of course, but it wasn’t to be. Third round exit against Premier League opposition but it wasn’t a game we could feel ashamed about at all. If you look at the stats we probably should’ve got a result and gone through but we were poor in the 1st half and we just got into the game too late. A good sign of things to come!

FA Trophy

We defender our crown in the FA Trophy as we go on to beat Torquay 3-0 with a dominant display both offensively, as well as defensively. This will be our last time in the competition (hopefully) but we went out in style. We have the Carabao Cup to look forward to next season.

• Fixtures

Absolutely outstanding effort from the boys! We’ve dominated the league and aside from our hiccup against Barnet we were unstoppable. Can’t really say too much, the results speak for themselves.

• League Stats

Goals

To further prove our dominance of the National league, the top 3 goal scorers all came from Vibe FC. @StuartM/Boothy, @Rich/Davies and @Woody all got 20+ goals in the league with @Kun Aguero/Zlatan not far behind. Our attacking power is scary.

Assists

Both of our AMCs proved to be irreplaceable assets to the team as they top the assist rankings in joint 1st. @Titjes and @leedsunited87/Tank, I don’t know how you’ll go about sharing the trophy😄.

• Club Records 2021/22

@StuartM/Boothy just keeps on getting better as he has improved his goals record by 5 this season. @Kun Aguero/Zlatan was our best player, statistically speaking, and has cemented his spot in the A team. Our 10-0 spanking again Solihull Moors will go down in history.

Never really dropped off once we got going. 3 players with an AvR of 8+ (@Kun Aguero/Zlatan, @StuartM/Boothy and @Rhewi/Fuchs) shows how great these guys really are. Everyone else deserves the same amount of credit as the whole team came together to give us a truly outstanding season. Boothy was scoring for fun and @Titjes was more than happy when it came to supplying the balls.@Daejeoncitizenworship/Williams was our only player who finished with a rating below 7 but fingers crossed he can turn this around and be back to his best in our next season.

• Season Overview

So that’s everything for Season 2! Haven’t put in the squad dynamics page because nothing significant has changed so there wasn’t too much to update you on that. We’ll march on and see how we do in the depths of League Two. Here’s a quick look at our youth intake and let’s just say.. we didn’t do too bad this year😄.

2 diamonds who shall provide a great backup option should we lose some players further on into the save. Also, @Rhewi/Felix Fuchs has announced that he is planning to retire at the end of the 2023/24 season but will play a crucial role as a Physio once his player contract has come to an end.

TRANSFER NEWS!!!

Vibe FC have announced the signing of 4 veteran free agents on 1-year deals without the option to extend. Craig Dawson and Aden Flint are both English centre-backs who will act as mentors for @Daejeoncitizenworship/Williams and @Albionic/Shaw and will cover them in case of injury. Welshman Kieron Freeman will mentor @hhooo/Lahm-Peters on the right side of the defensive line and Scotsman Barry Douglas will guide @MertNobre/Cügrül down the left flank.

Wow. That’s a great update. You must spend AGES on this (especially if you did it twice). Plus I have no idea how you speed through the seasons so quick. Thank you, this is very entertaining.

To save you some work in future, perhaps ignore the individual coaches reports (with the stars) and just do the overall squad report (with the stars). Only 2 screenshots instead of ~20,  and the strengths / weaknesses shouldn’t change too much.

Good - Plus I am delighted with my player’s (@danenglish) performances this season. Coming back from a broken leg (!), managed 30 appearances, still in the 1st team, with a 7.23 average rating (best of the 4 x CMs), with solid stats. Happy.

Bad - However, according to the coaches’ stars, I’m still the worst CM in terms of ability (that’s fair), and while I’ve got the highest leadership stats now (13!) and am one of the 8 “influencers” in the squad, unfortunately I’m still a very average squad player *sigh*. Let’s see.

While you all get multi-million bids from across Europe, I’ll be staying here for a long long time.
