We’ve inherited Cressing Road for the time being (Braintree Town’s stadium) but will hopefully get a change to have our own ground in the future and decide on a proper name😄

By the way - this was an excellent idea. Should really speed things up and make it more convenient for you. 

For those who don’t give a preference, AND don’t reply in 24 hours - instead of having a blanket rule of “accept any offers”, perhaps it’s fine to leave the decision to you. If you want the player to stay (e.g. they’re really important for a promotion push) then feel free to reject the offer & keep them at the club. Your choice <thumbs up>

SEASON REVIEW (SEASON 1)

That’s it, our first season has been completed and it definitely wasn’t ‘smooth sailing’ with a few long term injuries sidelining some crucial first team players but we battled through it and here’s how it all looked once we got to the end.

• Team Performance/Competitions

Vanarama National South:

We’ve blown the board expectations out of the water and won the league title in very dominating fashion, winning by a huge 27 points. It wasn’t a perfect season but for it certainly wasn’t bad! We showed great promise which we can hopefully follow up on in the next season!

FA Cup:

Third Round exit against Southampton wasn’t really a massive surprise to myself and the supporters. We did fantastically to get this far and I couldn’t be happier with the lads. At the end of the day, the league was always the focus so I didn’t mind this at all. 5-1 wasn’t a great result but it shows that we still have a long way to go.

FA Trophy:

In all honesty - I genuinely forgot about this competition and this match in particular. Completely dominated the final, as you can see from the stats, but made a proper meal out of it as it went all the way to penalties. Clinical. We completed a cheeky double in our first season, not too shabby at all!

• Fixtures

6 losses all season is absolutely brilliant! 10th Oct - 5th Jan saw us go on a massive unbeaten run, we were absolutely unplayable. Lost both league games to Dulwich Hamlet but that doesn’t matter - they didn’t get promoted so we can leave our bogey team behind😄. (I did somehow miss out like 2 weeks in Feb, sorry about that🤦🏽‍♂️)

• League Player Stats

@StuartM/Booth and @Rich/Davies were in a league of their own when it came to putting the ball in the net. Both players are shaping up to be outstanding players and hopefully they can carry this for on in the National league. Our veteran @Rhewi/Fuchs had the most assist, only just beating @StuartM/Boothy who really was all over the place this season, in a good way of course.

You can see from this page that we were a force to be reckoned with! @StuartM/Boothy and @Rich/Davies really were the standout players this season and having 2 brilliant strikes in the team is a problem I do not mind having at all!

Absolutely brilliant first season from the lads! Going forward we’re basically unstoppable and it shows in the player ratings for sure. The defensive line was solid and it’s to no surprise that they are some of the most capped players, seeing as they have no competition for positions they get to play almost every game. The midfield seems to be out ‘weak’ point but I just think that CMs always get low ratings in this game anyway - really can’t fault any of the players at all, excellent! @StuartM/Booth with a massive 54 goal contributions in 41 games!!

I really don’t know why I loaded the Scottish League 😂. Also, an all-Portuguese Europa League final👀.

That would be everything (unless I forgot something🤦🏽‍♂️) for Season 1 then! Had a great start and I’m already looking forward to season 2 as we look to get into League Two - will we get back to back promotions? Only time will tell. On the right wing @Woody takes @JamesVilla/E’Ajude’s place due to his lack of game time last season because of injury, and in-between the sticks @Frimpong Evansis going ahead of @YungGaffer/Yashin. @Rich/Davies maintains his spot for now but is facing fierce competition from @StuartM/Boothy.

B Team:

@DanEnglish is still out for another 4 months and will be replaced by a player from the reserves for the time being. Back-line remains unchanged and will be also replaced by reserve players should any of them be low on fitness or, God forbid, get injured.

"Yeah, well we get on well really and its all about results for the team and giving the gaffer the option, its a long season and there are plenty of games for us both when we're successful"

"Yeah, I don't really want to get in to that, my Dad says that I should aim for the Champions League but to be honest my Mum says she likes having me round for tea so I reckon the best thing is to me to stick with the lads and see how far we can go"

Boothy is surely on his way to becoming one of the Vibe FC greats! Won’t be long until he’s ripping the Prem apart (hopefully😅).
